I only have 4,000 miles on this 2017, but it might very well become one of the best vehicles that I have ever owned.

  • Never a CR V in my sights!!! - 2017 Honda CR-V

I never owned an SUV and never wanted one!!!!. My VW Golf (loved it!!!)lease was coming to an end and l looked at Mini Cooper, Mazda 3 and Impreza with an eye to getting something with a little more room ,yet fun to drive. The 2018 Crosstrek caught my eye since it was built on the 2017 Impreza platform with great reviews and a cargo area designed to meet our needs. I was about to buy the Crosstrek when a mechanic friend suggested I check out a Honda product. On a lark I went to the dearlership near me and tested the CR V-2017. I was sold. The solid feel behind the wheel, the acceleration, the cargo room, the numerous bells and whistles, gas mileage and the automatic closing feature on the lift gate sold us . It was priced very close to the fully loaded Crosstrek. I had only one problem after purchase --road noise coming from the tires. The Bridgestone tires on the car did not get high marks from Tire Rack and others. After two days I called my salesman to ask if I could swap out the Bridgestones for a set of Michelins and pay the difference. ---72 hrs later I had the Michelins on the car--what a difference--no road noice, better in wet and snow condition for a small out lay of cash.

  • ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NEW CR-V EXL AWD - 2017 Honda CR-V

Ive had my new 2017 CR-V EXL AWD for one month now. Absolutely love it. I love the new design of the CRV. Very sporty and edgy. Previously Ive owned two Honda Pilots since 04 and decided to down size and get better mpg. Recently got 33 mpg on a trip and averaging 25 mpg, with a lot of city driving. Really enjoy driving this vehicle, handles very well. Not going to win any drag races with this CRV, a little sluggish from the start but I knew this going in. Going from my Pilots V6 to this 1.5 four cylinder. Interior is very roomy and luxurious. Considered the RAV4 and Mazda CX5. After a lot of research and reading/video a lot of reviews I went with the CRV. I know I made the right choice. Im looking forward to owning this vehicle for many years. You cant go wrong with the CRV, it is definitely at the top of its class.

  • The best of ALL SUVs! - 2017 Honda CR-V

Ive only test driven this car, have not bought yet due to lack of money. the model I test drove was the EX-L edition. Lets just say, I test drove the Haundai Tucson, Ford Escape, and Toyota RAV4. They dont hold a candle to the new CRV! I love almost everything about this car! It drives smoothly in every area, and the handling is amazing. It feels like you are in a small crossover. The interior features are great, such as the 20-way power lumbar (on EX-L and higher editions I believe), the seats are extremely comfortable, even for people like be with back problems. Every single part of the car is high quality. Love the soft materials all around including the dashboard. A major plus for me is that the NAV screen doesnt glare and reflect in the drivers face, unlike the Ford and Toyota. I also really like the full LED headlights (on Touring model) and full LED rear lights. Im a fan of all of the styling elements except for the wheels. Many people like them and you might as well, but they dont fit my style. I do like the rims style on the LX (base model) they are less detailed but still high quality. All around it seems like really high quality materiel. The plastics, leather, trim, and the Navigation system work really well. Doesnt take forever to load on the setup screen. Sitting inside, you feel like youre in a BMW or Volvo! Not kidding. Oh and the wood trim! Is amazing!! Its a high quality, non plastic looking fake wood trim that looks real. Its has a matte finish and a real wood color. And the reliability. CRVS last forever! Not uncommon to get over 300,000 miles on the engine with no problems at all. Test drive this car if you want an amazing SUV! You will want to buy it.

  • First Class! - 2017 Honda CR-V

Traded in a 2015 CRV Touring for the 2017 Touring. One word.... WOW! The fifth generation is light-years better than the 2015 on so many levels. Where to start. Comfort, quiet, responsive steering, room for stuff and passengers, features, safety and that marvelous 1.5 liter turbo engine linked to a vastly improved CVT. The fifth generation is well thought out. I am glad I took the "trade in hit" for this CRV

  • CRV finally won me over - 2017 Honda CR-V

In years past, when ever I checked out the CRV, it lost to the Subaru Outback in many areas. However, the 2017 CRV Touring AWD made me switch. At first, I was skeptical of even giving it the once-over, considering the "small" 1.5L turbo engine. I was more than a bit surprised at the excellent performance of this engine, whether on the interstate or traversing the mountains of Vermont. This engine is terrific and you will not want for power. The CRV drives well and is comfortable. My steep off road test seemed to be on par with the symetrical all wheel dirve Subaru, which also surprised me - but winter will be the final test. My gas mileage is about 30 around town and around 34 on the highway. The CRV also seems quieter than my Outback. I had a couple of interesting options installed on my Touring CRV - the sport bumpers and the large body side mouldings. These options give the CRV a much more muscular look. My only real complaint is the itsy-bitsy gas tank - it could use another 4 gallons. Jeepers, Honda ... cant you find a spot for another four gallons? I guess I should also mention the funky two-tier storage arrangement behind the rear seat - what is up with that? I guess it is because of the design of the rear seat - when it folds down, it was at a different elevation (higher) that the storage area, so Honda made it so you could raise the storage floor to be at the same elevation as the folded seat.

Ive only had it since July 7th, but love driving it. Still learning about the bells and whistles. Bought the Touring in order to get LED headlights and they are wonderful. Also wanted the leather seats.
