expensive to fix fun to drive - 2000 Volkswagen Jetta
By kenneary21 - October 22 - 5:42 pmthis was my second car only had 66,000 on it with is good for a 10 year old car. fell in love with it at first sight black exterior with black leather interior. i learned how to drive stick with this car and its a blast to drive very fast even for the 2.0l v4 handling awesome I cant say enough how much i love this car it looks so cool and is so comfy to sit in and is fast and handles well Im going to miss this car and so will all my friends. the one thing that sucks about this car and the same goes for all German cars when something breaks its pricey. my alternator went $500,oil pan $475. The other thing i dont like about the car too much is the plastic body. It gets 20-26 mpg. love this car

Love my Jetta - 2000 Volkswagen Jetta
By xochimahuac - September 3 - 2:00 amHave had my Jetta for 2 and a half years now, and it has always been great. Even in the accident where the other car was totalled, my Jetta protected me perfectly and was able to be fixed. Still runs great and feels very safe. Only strange thing is it consumes so much oil.

167,000 Miles and Running Strong - 2000 Volkswagen Jetta
By Kaitlyn - July 18 - 3:13 amThe day my dad brought home his little 2000 Jetta GLS, I was instantly reminded of his old Audi. With about 120,000 miles at the time he bought it, the former owner had driven the Jetta on extremely long highway trips between Michigan and Detriot for about two years. In the time that my Dad owned it, he only ever needed to change the timing belt and oil every 3,000 miles. The car never gave him a problem despite cold Michigan mornings and the ocassional nasty blizzard. Now, Ive bought this car from him. It is the second vehicle Ive ever bought, and continue to care for it despite its 167,000 miles and climbing. I couldnt ask for a better car.

The Best Car Ever - 2000 Volkswagen Jetta
By love my jetta - January 16 - 10:56 amI cant say enough how much I love this car. I bought it used and got a great deal on it. I drive my Jetta about 156 miles per day and I have not had one issue at all. The check engine light came on once but that was my fault because I didnt close the fuel door and someone took my gas cap. I have done quite a few "improvements" to the car, adding aftermarket things like a new head light fixture to have projector lights and new rims and tires. I got the windows tinted and changed the tail lights to the new 2005 version as well. I have added XM radio to the car and have done a few interior updates. I really cant stop. I think I am looking every weekend for something new to put on this car.
