Overview & Reviews
Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.
Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

A great car for the money - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By Jeff - December 14 - 4:56 amOk, no surprise it has no problems its a TOYOTA. Have had it for 3 months now, great fuel economy (38 mpg on the highway last trip). The interior is high quality and nothing like an entry level domestic model. With the sunroof and 6 disc changer in the dash its a nice little car to commute to and from work, as well as a trip up the coast for vacation. My last toyota was 11 years old and had 219,00 miles on it and never went to the shop except for oil changes and a few sets of tires and brakes, I know this car will be as reliable as that, thanks toyota for building a car that is truly worry free.

Wonderful dependable little car - 1994 Toyota Corolla
By churro28 - December 11 - 2:40 pmOur Toyota Corolla has been the most reliable car we have ever owned. It has survived 2 accidents and still has always cost us very little in upkeep. It has reached 200,000 miles and is still going strong.

Great car, GREAT gas mileage... - 2013 Toyota Corolla
By sliverit - December 11 - 1:42 amIve been driving a GMC Sierra as of late, and getting 13-15 mpg, so I really needed something for my drive. I bought the 2013 Corolla S to commute across Phoenix. It drives really nicely. Tight, responsive steering, excellent braking, good acceleration (especially considering its a 1.8!) and a good looking car. Im 62" and the interior is a little tight for me, but its not too bad. I just drove to Idaho and back for a funeral, and I averaged 34 mpg. Long hours in the car arent super comfortable, but overall, for the money, its a great, zippy little car that gets excellent gas mileage and is pretty fun to drive. AND its a Toyota, so its gonna last! I would highly recommend one!

Just bought - After much research - 2006 Toyota Corolla
By John - December 6 - 1:46 amHi - I just bought a Corolla (2006) today. However, it was a prudent decision to make this purchase after much research. The Corolla looked more real and better built. It gave the appearance of being a solidly built car. Appearance was best. Then the test drive. Smooth, quiet, peppy, comfortable with a good industry warrenty and excellent gas economy. We both feel very good about our purchase decision. Rides nice and 30/38 MPG -- very nice car!

Im Happy - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By Elizabeth Libero - December 3 - 5:33 amI am very happy with my new 2010 Corolla XLE. I have owned a Tercel, Corolla, Camry Wagon and Sienna. They were all great, so I stayed with Toyota. I am especially pleased with the quiet ride, bluetooth, zippy engine and look. I prefer the cloth to leather since I live in very hot temps. I was excited at the powertrain warranty and oil changes for life as well as my fin. deal. I95 staff treated me like I was buying a Lexus.

I love this car - 1994 Toyota Corolla
By Ymoja - November 28 - 10:13 pmThe most practical and reliable car Ive ever owned. In 13 years/153,000 miles, in addition to oil changes/fluid checks, the only repairs Ive had are: water pump replacement, timing belt replacement, front and rear brakes, and dash board light replacement. I love the manual locks and doors... less to break.

PaZaZZ - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By Outagas - November 26 - 10:00 amPurchased the car new, excellent vehicle with great reliability. Best car we have ever owned, we will keep it for our grand kids and their kids. Car is getting to be a classic with excellent body lines, still looks like knew. The black flaked paint is awesome and people stop and ask about the color. Just a super car!
