Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • Reliable and Worth every penny - 2009 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I bought this car brand new in January 2009 and traveled a lot for work. I now have 200K miles and use this as my second car for short trips. So far everything still works and no major mechanical issues or rusts. As long as you are changing the oil every 4K miles and tune up every 75K miles you should be good. Just be easy on the gas pedal since it doesnt have a lot of power.

  • Went for the tC but choose the Corolla - 2005 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I went to the dealer to look at Scion tCs but as my mom and I were looking around we stopped to look at the Corollas. This is a great small car... quick, good on gas and fun to drive. I drove all the way Central NJ on one tank of gas in the middle of the summer with the A/C on full blast. I never thought I would own a Toyota but I dont think I will ever drive anything else. Its been only two weeks and I am still in love.

  • bullet proof - 1999 Toyota Corolla

This car is bullet proof. After 50,000 miles there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. With a mix of freeway and city driving my average mpg is 31 for all miles so far.

  • Corolla is still a leader - 2012 Toyota Corolla
    By -

The Corolla still beats the competition. Quality is superb; reliability is well documented. At 34 MPG on the road, figuring $4.25 per gallon, the loss of savings in gas compared to a 40 MPG car is $1,200 over 100,000 miles. The competition is charging thousands more than the Corolla; you will never really save money! The brakes work great, the ride is great; the performance with the automatic transmission is fully acceptable. My Ford and Chrysler cars failed me miserably. I will stay with Toyota. Join me and 100,000 miles from now you will be glad you did too. The "bells and whistles" the competition have will not be much comfort when their car breaks down. Toyota still rules.

  • Damn a Good car for the price!!! - 2004 Toyota Corolla

I gotta damn its a fun to drive car, very reliable , basically a good purchase for the price, its awesome to own one. Yes i would recommend this car to anyone. Expect what i dont really like is the parts for customization are little expensive... But overall 10/10 rating for everything....

  • Good commuter car - 2015 Toyota Corolla
    By -

The Toyota Corolla 2015 LE is a comfortable car for commuting long and short distances. It is a smooth ride at higher speeds on the freeways and has the power when you need it. It handles well but probably not sporty enough for most. You dont feel the bumps in the road like in most cars. It is certainly economical. It lets you know how much fuel you are using! The exterior of the car has a nice streamlined look. The interior is OK - looks a little outdated but has many convenient features like the Ensure media system. Bluetooth phone, voice activation, reverse camera, automatic climate control etc. There is plenty of room in the car and you head does not touch the ceiling.

  • I really like this car! - 2005 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I recently purchased my white Toyota after its sporty and clean looks really caught my eye - It has "ground effects" package, a "wing & power sunroof. I am 55 but not ready for an "old lady " car! I had been looking for a few months and this is the first car that seriously had everything I was looking for. It is extremely roomy & comfortable, with a great solid feel, and drives & handles like a dream-- with terrific gas mileage so far. Also, a big factor is that I got it for $10,000 LESS than the other cars I was considering! I am very happy! Even though its a 4 cylinder, it still moves great, anytime I hit the gas. Love it !

  • Totally Awesome - 2006 Toyota Corolla

The Corolla is amazing. It handles excellent, and it is reliable. I love the amount of interior space.
