Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • Extremely happy - 2010 Toyota Corolla

I felt compelled to write a review after reading Edmunds statements about Corolla being last in some survey. I truly am extremely happy. Averaging 30mpg combined hwy/local. Very nice look external and internal. Seats more comfortable than the Civic which I previously owned. Quiet. Handles tremendously well. Accelerates smoothly including uphill. Auto shifts smoothly. Multi-CD player sounds great. Its the smooth ride I think really impresses and the nice design. Then just add the quality - confidence this will last 100-200k miles or more.

This car has Awesome performace and power which only we need..you can ride at the speed of 80 or 90 miles per hour with no problem.. This car is ideal for small road trips even you can go for long trips.. For family with 2 kids this car would be small as it has limited space..

I do many long drives, including through LA. I have found this car to be very confortable throughout the trip and has plenty of passing power on the freeway. The gas mileage is also incredible for these trips. Even traffic is not hard(espeically for a 5 speed).

  • Vehicle - 2009 Toyota Corolla

I bought this vehicle January 10, 2009, for the price it is a great deal for the buck. I have two draw backs on this vehicle, first the clock is in a odd place, and the vehicle mph does not reflect the actual mph. I havent noticed the steering problem that some owners are talking about, if I do I will be taking it in to the dealer for a fix. Overall this car is great. This is my forth corolla now,and I will recommend this vehicle to anyone.

It has the best mielage of any car I have ever driven. It has good pick up speed for a 4 cylinder. Its adorable and NEVER has any problems! My dad is the manager at Toyota and has told me, Corollas are the best selling car because they have no problems and last forever.

almost 40,000 miles. No problems, nothing. I bought new tires because had a flat. interior light burned out because i left it on all day. She still started. if i could change anything, it would be a trunk light. sometimes you really need it. i would like to upgrade to a bigger toyota, because it does sit low to the ground. hard when your getting up in age. i could never sell her. i want to give her to my step-son. 30 miles per gallon.

  • Smooth and Balanced with Bite. - 2005 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I love this car. Its agility and balance are comprable to that of a roadster. This light weight sport version of the corolla has shed the econo-type that most think of in a sub $15K car. The Corolla S demonstrated its superb handling and drivability on my cross county trip where I sliced through corners in the mountains of North Carolina. Road conditions were varied from dry/smooth to wet/rough and even some gravel roads, through it all the outstanding suspension didnt even hiccup. The car balanced itself through every turn pulling a perfect line. Awsome "drivers" machine.
