Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • Not a Bad Car - 2010 Toyota Corolla

Full tank, I get about 360 miles before the gas light comes on and refill is around 11 gallons. Overall Im satisfied with the car. The recall was a system wide measure that Toyota took to make sure that they would gain our confidence and Im not concerned, knock on wood. They even said that not all cars are affected. Steering is a problem, the car veers from side to side like having a gust of wind hitting the car. I could never keep the car straight on the road, it gets worse as I gradually increase speed. I took it to the dealer to check my alignment and it fixes the problem...mostly. I would still feel a slight drift, but not as bad as before.

I sold my 96 Toyota a week ago & already miss that car. It was very dependable and I even drove it to AZ and back. In the 11 years I had it I only had two problems. One was electrical wiring & the other was my gas tank was punctured. I prob. hit something but once these repairs were made it was back to its dependable self. I wish I still had this car and when I placed an ad selling it I had numerous calls & sold it within 4 hours for 200 less than asking price. If you need a reliable car this is it! Dont hesitate to buy. I have a big family now & it was no longer practical but I sure wish I couldve kept it.

  • For the Price, It is Well Worth It!!! - 2005 Toyota Corolla

The price that was paid for this vehicle, I would have to say that it is well worth it. The Corolla LE is extremely comfortable, reliable, and fun to drive. It saves me plenty of money on gas, where as there are times that I do not have to fill the tank for at least two weeks. I think that I made the right choice on this one.

The PLush out look and neatly placed interior are unique in TOYOTA styling. Also incirporating all major features as Standard in pricing has made deciding the price more simpler and can easily be compared with other simillar vehicles. After taking a test drive one is convinced about the Toyota name backing its quality proucts

  • Great car - 2003 Toyota Corolla

Loved this car. Bought it brand new. There was no other compact sedan as stylish as this at the time. Car felt much more expensive than it actually was. I totalled the car less than a year after having it. Ran head on into a telephone pole due to road conditions. Airbag deployed, I was completely fine. From inside the vehicle you would have never known it was wrecked (except the airbag and cracked windshield). Very solid!

  • Im satisfied! - 2001 Toyota Corolla

Have had my 2001 LE with 4-speed automatic almost 4 years and I can honestly say Im 100% satisfied with the car - the mileage is very good, checked it today and I got 31.3 mpg on my last tank - car handles well and the engine is quiet - I did have to replace the blower motor at 22,000 miles but luckily it was still under warranty - if I had to to it over Id get the same car only a different color - dark colors show everything -

  • worst experience with Toyota Customer Service - 2014 Toyota Corolla
    By -

I have been a Toyota owner for the last five years. My family has owned multiple Toyota cars in the past years, hence, the reason why my family decided to purchase a Toyota vehicle. Since the ownership of my Toyota Corolla, which was bought brand new, I have had multiple issues with the vehicle, i.e., temperature gauge had gone bad two-years after purchasing the vehicle, drivers window stuck in down position, and the vehicle began to shake vigorously at around 40,000 miles and then again at 78,000 miles (when my children under the age of 5 were present during both incidents). I have been getting the vehicle serviced and maintained on time from a Toyota authorized service dealership. I have been completely unsatisfied with the level of care and commitment Toyota has provided. For a company that strives on "innovation, quality and reliability," Toyota has failedto comply with their standards and level of concern. I had registered a complaint with the Toyota Customer Experience Center, who disregard my complaint and faulted me atthe vehicle’s condition. The Executives that I had dealt with repeatedly continued to say that the engine failing is not Toyotas problem, even though I am able to prove that my maintenance was done on a timely basis. The Customer Care team members are rude and beyond help, with no sense of professionalism or mannerism. I have an $8,000.00 expense at the cost of Toyota’s faults and oversight. I am appalled to learn that Toyota knew about such faulty engines and issues but chose not take any action to fix such vehicles, given the fact they claim they have the most reliable cars – I think that is an understatement. Now, I will think twice before going back to a Toyota and never recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from Toyota until they are able to accept responsibly and value their vehicles and customers.

  • Best Car I Ever Owned - 1998 Toyota Corolla

I am amazed that I still have the original muffler and pipes on this car! I have it serviced regularly and never had any "surprise" problems with it. Its got over 90,000 miles, is fuel efficient and I love it because its dependable, not because its "fun to drive". Maybe Ill upgrade to the Camry next time but Im sure happy with my Corolla!
