Model Overview:

Well into its fourth decade of production, the compact Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car in automotive history, and for good reason. Small, inexpensive, fuel-efficient and as reliable as the day is long, the Corolla is the quintessential economy car. As long as you change the oil on time and don't hit a tree, any Corolla should provide dependable transportation well past the 100,000-mile mark. That's why so many shoppers keep buying Corollas year after year.

Since its 1968 introduction in the U.S., the Toyota Corolla has come in a variety of body styles, including a sedan, coupe, hatchback and wagon. More recently, however, it has only been available as a sedan. Today's Corolla has almost as much rear passenger space as a midsize sedan and its fuel economy is impressive. Although rivals boast sportier designs and more entertaining driving dynamics, a Corolla is nonetheless an excellent choice for smart consumers on a budget.

  • Great car for the price! - 2016 Toyota Corolla

Im very impressed with the latest generation of Toyota Corollas. The interior styling and quality has vastly improved over previous generations. The handling is very good for an economy 4Dr Sedan and the back seat legroom is fantastic. Im 61" tall and I can sit comfortably in the back seats without my knees hitting the front seats. Head room is not an issue. Visibility is great, the blind spots are very minor in this car. The S Plus package I purchased comes standard with Bluetooth, voice controls, USB, Back Up camera, paddle shifters, stiffer struts, allow wheels, front fog lights, electronic mirrors + defrost, and a 50/50 cloth/vinyl interior. For the price I think you get an excellent vehicle. This Corolla is about the same size as the Camry, its not even close to the traditional Corollas of the past. Ride comfort is superb, the seats are very comfortable for long trips. Road noise is fairly low and acceptable, but its not of course as good as a Lexus or Cadillac. The touch screen radio is intuitive and easy to use/navigate. The climate controls are also basic and easy to use, this is a plus in my opinion. Sure you dont get lots of the latest bells and whistles with this car, such as active parking assist or lane change notifications, but thats not something I care about or want. For the price of this vehicle Im very impressed, its a great value. What you get with this car, in my opinion, are the essentials. You get your hands free, you get your keyless entry, you get your HD radio, you get excellent headlights (night visibility), fuel economy, safety, handling, cargo space (big trunk for a small car), and passenger space. On top of it all, you get Toyota Reliability. Parts/maintenance are very low/affordable. Choosing this vehicle was a simple choice for me. The only other vehicle I would consider at this price point is the Mazda 3. They are very close to each other in terms of price and options. But I felt that overall the Toyota offered a better value both in the short and long term.

In general, the car is great, nice looking, good handling, comfortable and a lot of room even in the back seat for the new generation giant kids. I own also a Volkswagen Jetta and I must confess that Toyota really impressed me with this new (Lexus made) Corolla 2003 it is finally reaching a step ahead its competitors. GOOD WORK!...

Bought 03 Corolla new Aug. 8 - Aug. 26 noticed rust on quarter panel at trunk. Trunk was hitting L/H Qrt panel when closed & chipped paint. Aug. 29 toyota dealer (not one purch. from) inspected vehicle, said it had been repaired. Took 03 back to Team Toyota, Lithia Springs Ga. They had fact rep. look & he agreed car had been repaired. Toyota denies having anything done at factory or shipping. Dealer denies same. On Oct.3 took car to Team Toyota for defective Radio repl. During the radio repl. dash wash badly damaged by mechanic. Oct.16 and vehicle is still at dealer.

Had it 3 years with no problems. Just a great reliable car. It shakes a little on the highway, but no maintenance on this baby.

Since that Im college student. I love this car. With all the room in th trunk and the back seat I am able to move all my stuff to college and back home. The interior is really nice. I like that layout of the buttons for a/c, rear windopw defroster, and etc., because then I reach over really quick and my eyes stay on the road. Compared to my other cars that I owned in the past. I sit up higher to have better visiability.

Ok, no surprise it has no problems its a TOYOTA. Have had it for 3 months now, great fuel economy (38 mpg on the highway last trip). The interior is high quality and nothing like an entry level domestic model. With the sunroof and 6 disc changer in the dash its a nice little car to commute to and from work, as well as a trip up the coast for vacation. My last toyota was 11 years old and had 219,00 miles on it and never went to the shop except for oil changes and a few sets of tires and brakes, I know this car will be as reliable as that, thanks toyota for building a car that is truly worry free.

I almost purchased a Honda Civic, but decided to test drive the Corolla first - loved it instantly. Quieter and has a sporty look with a sedan feel inside. Try it!!!!
