  Not Bad - Not Great - 2010 Toyota Corolla

  I purchased the 2010 Corolla S after driving an 07 Civic for a couple of years. While it is not a bad car, I do wish I had bought another Civic. I am not getting as good of gas mileage plus all the recalls etc. The steering is a problem for me especially on windy days.

  I love this car! Customer service was excellent! Car has great features, econimical, and reliable, but also fun to drive. Nice, quiet and very comfortable to ride in. This is my second corolla and everything is great!

  Great but... - 2010 Toyota Corolla

  I have owned this car for almost a month. The gas mileage is great, the ride and feel would be great except for a not too subtle high pitch humming noise coming from the transmission. It seems to appear only when the engine engages, as soon as you release the gas pedal the noise is gone. I will be taking it to the dealership to see what they can do. Will update at that point.

  I am pretty happy. I drove so much that it paid to trade in my other car for one with high MPG. The exterior is an improvement from the previous generation. It also has the XRS odometer. I also got a lifetime powertrain warranty. Its a 100 dollar deductible, but I figure in 5 or 6 years Ill have 200K miles and get a new engine and transmission under warranty.

  Interior Material is linty - 2010 Toyota Corolla

  I read where someone else wrote about the interior material having the lint problem. I am too and feel the fabric choice is very cheap feeling and should have been a higher quality. Unfortunately, I didnt notice it until I bought the car I am very disappointed in the gas mileage because Im only getting 28 when I thought I would get over 30 easy.

  Great Car for the Money - 2010 Toyota Corolla

  This car maintains great 30+ MPG even with a full load of groceries, kids and a dog (dont ask how we do do it). Oil changes are the only maintenance we have done to it since we bought in 2010. Very reliable.

  Second Corolla - 2010 Toyota Corolla

  After being hit by a 18 wheeler, and surviving, I decided to replace my totaled 2008 Corolla CE with a 2010 Corolla LE. So far, I am very satisfied with the new Corolla. It feels roomier and more comfortable than the 08 Corolla and has more creature comforts. I have not noticed any of the steering issues that other have complained about, and the build quality is fantastic. I do suggest getting the dealer installed body molding, it makes the car look better and provides protection from door dings. Finally, I got a great deal on the car with zero percent interest.

  90% As Good as my Lexus! - 2010 Toyota Corolla

  After driving a Scion xD (and not liking it at ALL), I test drove a Corolla "S." Night and day difference! My other car is a 2008 Lexus IS 250 with lots of options, and this Corolla is 90% as good. Its quiet. It gets great gas mileage. The list of features is impressive. Theres plenty of room and while a bit on the bland side, its peppy and predictable. Other, similar econo-cars either skimp on the features or cost several thousand more. The Corolla does what it should, and I dont regret the purchase at all! Sure, there are room for improvements--but at this price its hard to consider the car a compromise.

  Engine Malfunction (Internal malfunction in the throttle body assembly) - 2010 Toyota Corolla

  I had really bad experience with Toyota Corolla 2010. When I was driving, all of a sudden I felt that my steering wheel was tightened up and very hard to turn. Lights on my dashboard (ABS, ENGINE MALFUNCTION/CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR, BREAK, VSC OFF) were lightened up and my car came to a total stop after about 3 minutes. I was very scared as I had my baby and family in the car when this happened. I tried starting my car several times but it failed to respond. I towed the car to the local dealer.The dealership people got back to me saying there was an internal malfunction in the throttle body assembly. They fixed and I took back the car and I put another 100 miles and again the same incident ha

  Road noise and head restraints block view - 2010 Toyota Corolla

  I think the road noise from the tires humming along is too loud. I think you can hear the traffic just as loud whether the windows are down or up. I am still getting used to the head restraints that appear in the way of my view when I try to turn around to see what is behind me when backing out. Per the monitor I get 31 MPGs! The car has enough pickup and go for my wife and I. We paid under $16K out the door. back up.
