Overview & Reviews
After a complete redesign last year, the 2010 Toyota Corolla adds standard stability control but otherwise holds its ground.
- Forgiving ride, good fuel economy with base engine, minimal road and wind noise.

Downsized from Lexus ES 300 - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By AJ - December 27 - 5:23 pmBought the car 1 week ago to replace a perfect, but aging 2002 Lexus ES 300. I like to sport look of the Corolla S and thought I would be sacrificing a lot but not really. No heated seats, no leather (in my model) and no 6 disc CD changer but thats about it. Gas mileage is excellent and car is more than what you would expect to get, with the price tag. Really liking it so far and I know this car will be burning gas down the NY roadways for many, many years to come.

Fun little car - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By al0751 - November 26 - 9:05 pmMy parents helped me buy this car used when my truck started costing too much money for inspection each year. While I started out a truck man, and still am to this day, I love my car to death. It is very fun to drive. I get excited to drive it even several months after I bought it. The 5 speed is nice, however there are a few quirks with mine. The clutch pedal squeaks (quite loud when the windows are down and at a standstill), and the shifter also squeaks when I am shifting into first and second gears. Also, sometimes the back window rattles when the radio is on (volume and bass are both not very loud and it still vibrates). Overall, I love the car and will keep it until it dies

Lived Up to Rep - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By Steve Marsh - November 15 - 10:39 amGot pretty good deal on 2010 LE Toyota Corolla. Paid few hundred dollars less than average cost. Decent miles for a 2010 (75,000 miles). No significant bells and whistles, so pretty basic. Previous owners spilled bucket of pickle juice on back seat, so a repeated ordeal trying to remove smell, but just bad luck. Overall pleased.

Very pleased - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By dvd0060 - October 10 - 3:53 pmFor the money this car is fantastic! The 1.8 liter engines has plenty of get up and go (I was surprised!) great breaks, handling is light and steering was quick and accurate (made it kinda fun to drive). The seats are comfy and theres plenty of room inside. Stability and trac are standard! This car feels more substantial the you might imagine. Low road noise and very absorbent ride, all help make the car feel like quality.

CHEAP TO BUY, AND CHEAPLY BUILT TOO! - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By retired744 - August 15 - 5:48 pmIn April 2012, I bought a 2010 Corolla LE with 7018 miles, from a Honda dealer, for $13,685. I bought it because of the advertised great fuel milage, and for the 8 total air bags ( small car safety ). The car is a good vehicle for low speed local travel, but highway noise above 55mph is excessive! I simply would not buy a Corolla again because of the excessive road noise. This is obviously a cheap car, but the all plastic interior is disgustingly cheap. I suppose I got what I paid for, but I now do NOT plan to keep this car. Interestingly, someone else traded it in at the Honda dealership where I bought it. WHY ?? I am now planning to trade it also! I made a mistake buying a 2010 Corolla LE!

Great mileage so far..... - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By rangerman7 - July 6 - 10:54 pmOK. I am the biggest conservative driver that I know. I really keep the rpms down. I have been watching the computer and average miles per gallon. My general rural commute and riding around town so far I have averaged......... 37-38 mpgs!!!!!! I said "aw shucks" when I saw the new Elantra come out with its 40 mpgs, but with the lifetime drivetrain warranty and 0% financing on my Corolla I still think I made right decision.

Good, Reliable Buy - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By JP - April 25 - 12:06 pmWe love Toyota in my family. I have owned my Corolla S for two weeks and am getting 33.5 mpg, which is what I was looking for. I was looking for a sporty look and the spoiler and sunroof of the Corolla S was the best I could get for the money. Not fond of the boxy look and the sport fabric of the seats which shows every spot. Love the visibility of the front window, the roomy feel, big trunk, data of mpg, and smooth ride. Do not like the placement of center arm rest which is too far back and center cupholder built only for a travel mug. Im getting used to the odd placement of the clock and the illogical shifting direction. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Corolla From Clunker - 2010 Toyota Corolla
By Mark90250 - February 9 - 3:13 amTraded in my 4Runner for the CARS rebate and bought the 2010 Corolla. I have to say from where I was its like driving a Cadillac. I commute in the some of the worst traffic there is on interstate 405 in the Los Angeles area. Counting the commute and on my third tank of gas I am averaging 32.8 MPG. Stop and go traffic all the way home. The sound system is good but turns to great using my iPod through the standard auxiliary input. The front seats are comfortable enough, though headroom is tight even for me at 5 ft 10". Nevertheless its an enjoyable commute. The ride is smooth and the steering is not stiff as I have read elsewhere. All in all...Very nice.
