Too many problems to enjoy! - 2016 Honda Civic
By Lynn - December 13 - 8:21 amA few days after purchase, Bluetooth stopped working, clock couldnt keep time, and there was no color on the touchscreen. This happens every 5-7 days, so basically works for a week, broke for a week. The Bluetooth is interfering with my job, so its important for it to work! Honda has informed me they know about the problem and are working on a fix, but its taking so long! Also sometimes when I exit the car theres a rapid beep, a warning, but nothing seems to be wrong, I have to re-open and close the door for a normal beep to ensure cars off and locked! So far, buying a new Honda has been a huge annoyance disappointment!

Short rough ride - 2016 Honda Civic
By joe martin - March 14 - 10:00 amAs the owner of two civics-06,10, I took my family to test drive a 16 model- 4door EX. I am old school, so I was freaked out by the fact that this car has NO key. You touch the door handle and it unlocks, you put your foot on the brake to start it-with a button!! The ride was ROUGH!!! Much rougher than the the ride of my 2 door ex, and 4 door LX(with 204,000) miles on it, mind you. Very disappointed. Drove it straight back to the dealer.....so so disappointed. So now I have to just get a used Accord. BTW we also drove a 16 Accord LX-the ride was MUCH better, but was with the vibration when accelerating, and sitting at a stop light about!! I guess I am being too picky folks. but I expected a lot better vehicle. Hell I own 2 of them, I know they have been good cars for me....but I have serious doubts about the new ones.....

Known Glitchy Navigation & Pairing Issues! - 2016 Honda Civic
By JC - January 7 - 3:53 amKnown issue with Android Pairing & Navigation Screen that flashes constantly when the car is started ... have to put the car in reverse to make it stop! WTH! Superstition Springs Honda Dealer doesnt know if the right hand and the left hand are connected. Dealer says originally a fuse and it happens, service says never heard of it before, internet knows about it Honda doesnt fix it! Android Pairing DOESNT WORK!!! Say its a Samsung issue ... I think Samsung is somewhat popular brand ...

Mysteriously Cracked windshield cannot be replaced - 2016 Honda Civic
By Joanne - September 17 - 3:34 amHonda failed to make enough replacements for the 2016 Civic windshield which dealer and glass companies tell me could take up to six months to manufacture and replace . UNACCEPTABLE HONDA! Car was purchased with summer road trips in mind which are not now possible. No known rock or debris impact -windshield just cracked one day and huge cracks continue to spread into driver field of vision making this a SAFETY ISSUE . Very disapointed! Car was not inexpensive . HONDAs lack of foresight in manufacturing replacement parts is disturbing AND shows lack of concern for product reliability or consumer safety .

Avoid the 2016 Touring at all costs. - 2016 Honda Civic
By Preston Hitchens - April 7 - 3:51 pmThe problem with this car is in the center, software driven console. I have had to learn how to pull the fuse in my Civic, because every 30 days there is a problem. I have had my car since January, and I have had it to the dealer twice, and I have reset the radio twice. The car is sitting in my driveway right now with a rattle in the subwoofer and an audio deck that wont turn off. I have had the cars software updated in accordance with the issued TSB, no relief. Dealer just has the stupid look on their face every time I take it back. I am actually thinking about selling the car--it only has 2,000 miles on it. The aggravation is not worth it. The Adaptive Cruise Control works, but is somewhat slow to respond. The rain sensing wipers work in name only. In general the worst car I have ever owned. I cant imagine keeping this for five years. Disappointing at best.

DO NOT BUY - 2016 Honda Civic
By Greek Brothers - January 24 - 2:52 pmI own a brand new 2016 Civic Touring Sedan: problems with its navigation system started the very next day. It either cannot find the satellites or it shows your location completely wrong, on another street or in a forest or in a lake! Took it back to he selling dealership twice: first time for a week to have the navigation head replaced - no improvement. Second time for another week to have the antenna replaced. If that doesnt help either Ill take it back again, and again: thank God for the existing Lemon Laws.

Not much standard - 2016 Honda Civic
By Meow - July 17 - 11:10 amI have always wanted a Honda Civic always dreamed of having one! The deal breaker was the price of the car and available tech options. I hate leather seats....I shouldnt have to upgrade to the highest model to get satellite radio. My major requirements were Bluetooth, satellite radio, leather wrapped shift knob....the car drives great but having to pay so much for a base model with no satellite radio...even on the fit its not standard...I went with a Kia Forte.

By BZ - October 19 - 2:44 amIf you live somewhere with a warm climate this is a great car. In cold temperatures the motor does not heat up the way it should, leaving you to drive in a cold car all the time.

Frustrating technology - 2016 Honda Civic
By Andrew - September 23 - 9:55 amI had the Touring 6 months 5 K miles and was frustrated by the tech system used. The Bluetooth rarely understood commands, dropped my phone continuously, did not have my phonebook most of the time , rebooted itself, just pure frustration. My wife did not like to noise or seat comfort. Body parts not fitted well. On the good side it got great MPG, looked good, handles well But the turbo lag along with the CVT was frustrating as well, try to get out into traffic was waiting a second till the turbo spools up along with the CVT stunk . Traded it in 9 weeks ago and the dealer is still sitting on it as they lower the price weekly.
