This is our first NEW car and we LOVE it all! LOVE the great gas mileage; am filling up half as much as I used to with the same size Nissan. I thought the visor/rear mirror problem was a silly flaw also, but the rear view mirror is on a ball & socket joint and can be moved right quite easily - problem solved! The ONLY negative thing that we have dealt with on this model is that the 5spd doesnt come with a leather wrapped shift knob like the 4A - NOT FAIR! Its a vinyl that gets HOT in the sun. We have Toyota getting us a leather cover :) A few changes and minor improvements (which anyone should expect from a redesign) would make this car anyones dream!

A great car with the qualities of a Lexus I was looking at the lexus IS 300 and decided for the $20,000 price difference the Corolla had pretty much the same qualities and I know with this car its lexus quality period. Thanks again Toyota for making a fun safe and fuel efficient car. By Andrew

I almost purchased a Honda Civic, but decided to test drive the Corolla first - loved it instantly. Quieter and has a sporty look with a sedan feel inside. Try it!!!!

Buy it quick before they run out, then you have to go out and find one. :(

  • The best car of its class - 2003 Toyota Corolla

An excellent car. Driving is smooth, silent, sound isolation inside is perfect, steering is great, need to use a manual break bar while parked since it adjusts a rear breaks. Convenient features are great. Need to be careful on the freeway if windy -- do not exceed 80 mph -- may be unstable beacause of its design.

Test driving cars finally ended when I decided to go over to a Toyota dealer. I shopped for cars for a long time, but I am very satisfied with what I bought. Only complaint is that the car sits way too high! I will drop the car an inch or two. Everything else is great. I am a college student and I need a car thats reliable and fast on the side. It has been easy to mod the car up.

I do many long drives, including through LA. I have found this car to be very confortable throughout the trip and has plenty of passing power on the freeway. The gas mileage is also incredible for these trips. Even traffic is not hard(espeically for a 5 speed).

Nice car, fun to drive, tight handling.

  • Terrific car! - 2003 Toyota Corolla

This is a nice one among the leading sub-compacts on the market. Only the Civic comes close in the total package. The redesign looks great and MUCH better than the 02 model. The 03 looks just like the Lexus IS and the tailights are a nice touch! A few more improvements and there is not much to not like about the Corolla.
