By Jim - July 11 - 8:03 amThe wife loves the car in all respects. I do not like its comfort level for me, although she is 5"1 and fits in it easily. I dont. Driving it is a pain for me at 510".

Love my Corolla - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By ADwyer - April 8 - 5:53 pmI bought my Corolla because I wanted a car that would last, I could depend on, and wouldnt require a lot of unexpected repair cost. I have not been disappointed. I love the gas mileage, I love the realibility (which is second to none.) I have 165K on it today, and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Other than regular maintainence I have put nothing into this car. I think about buying something bigger because of the short backseat, however, I am scared to give up the dependability I have grown to expect.

As reliable as mom - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By shar - February 18 - 6:13 amThis corolla was more loyal than my dog, as sure as death and taxes to start up and run like a top. It never once stranded me. I feel stupid selling it, but its getting embarassing to drive. It drinks a quart of oil every 2 weeks for the last year, but adding it is no big deal.

By Ben Vo - January 5 - 10:00 amThis car is not too bad. It bottoms out in the rear all the time. The shocks should be better than the ones it came with. Had a problem with the seatbelt sensor and my front lightbulbs wear out quickly.

Reliable, Slightly Zippy Commuter Car - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By coloradohunters - October 28 - 2:00 amMy Corolla has been an excellent commuter car - great gas mileage (close to 30 around town), easy to drive, and even a little peppy when you need it. For the 5 years my wife and I have driven it weve had no problems with it. Although it can be sluggish when its loaded down. When my wife and I switched cars, my Camry for her Corrolla, I had to get use the less leg room and foot room.

Good Car for the price - 1998 Toyota Corolla

Concerned about paint thats chipped less than a 1/4 inch on the center of the door, Other wise the car is great. Ive Changed the stock streo to a new sony in-dash cd player and sounds great with the stock speakers. I would recommend this viechle to anyone in any age range.

By mal1028 - June 27 - 1:43 pmI personally have had my 1998 Corolla for over a year and I love it. Nothing has gone wrong on it other than a minor exhaust leak. I recommend this car for sure. It has always started during the freezing Canadian weather, and never let me down. Never broken down! it currently has 251 kms on it and is still going strong. 5 stars I would rate this car.

Most reliable car - 1998 Toyota Corolla
By oldetimer - May 2 - 10:10 amI have owned this car for eleven years and have had no major problems with it; in fact, very, very few minor problems. Its certainly not an exciting car to drive, but it is extremely reliable and just keeps going. It has averaged about 32-34 mpg. This is the best made car I have ever owned.
