Good car for the price range - 2000 Hyundai Sonata
By walt7873 - June 9 - 11:15 pmWe purchased our car in 2002 with 50000 miles on it. We havent had any major problems with it. The engine still has lots of pep after 78000 miles and the AC is ice cold. Our Sonata has tons of features that other cars in its price range cant touch. The interior feels classy and it rides smooth. It has been a great car for us.

Im disappointed!! - 2000 Hyundai Sonata
By jean - September 25 - 12:07 pmi bought this car brand new.had no problems with it. bought another car and gave it to my daughter 1.5 yrs ago. she had the tires changed and found a huge hole in the subframe rusted from the inside out. the car has 106000 miles and Hyundai will not fix it. i have never heard of a 6 year old car frame rusting through in half. my daugher could have been killed. i trusted my Hyundai. it is definitely a faulty parts problem.

By SuzQue - December 8 - 4:33 pmOriginal owner of 4cyl 5-spd model and get 32/45 mpg after 5 years/68,000! Interior is roomy & comfortable for long road trips handling is agile a/c is ice-cold. Timing belt tensioner failed when I was thousands of miles from home, but dealership in Buffalo, NY quickly took care of it under warranty and put us back on the road to finish our vacation trip same day. Local Houston dealer has handled recalls and other warranty matters very well. Price & warranty got me to try it (always a Toyota buyer before). Id buy another Sonata & have recommended to others!

Very Satisfied - 2000 Hyundai Sonata
By craig - August 27 - 2:00 amI have owned this vehicle for almost 4 years and have had zero problems. The only money I have spent on it has been routine maintenance. I enjoy driving it, and Hyundai (or my dealer) even covered fixing the heater fan even though it was broken because a mouse built a nest in it.

By weezmyster - September 18 - 2:00 amMy wife and I bought this car to accomodate a new baby. Two door vehicles just werent cutting it as he got heavier and heavier. We needed a four door vehicle, but didnt want the huge payment to go with it. We searched and found this. Im a skeptic, but when I drove it, this car handled surprisingly well. It was tight, comfortable, and had all the room of a full size sedan. We love it.

Great Car - 2000 Hyundai Sonata

It is smooth and comfortable (as comfortableaas one can get driving over 3,00 miles). I now have 33,000 miles on it and it performs as well as it did when I bought it. I love the styling and the engine is quiet and smooth to deliver on the 171 horsepower.
