No more Hondas for me! - 2012 Honda Civic
By ravfjr - May 30 - 12:52 pmThis is my 3rd civic, and will be my last Honda. It appears that Honda has (sadly) taken the road to greed by offering an inferior product for profit. At 500 miles the traction control unit failed, then at 13,000 miles the A/C unit wouldnt work, followed by an emission control failure at 15,000 miles. The car is extremely noisy and uncomfortable to drive. The stereo is one on the worst Ive ever heard. I really cant believe this car is a Honda product.

Buyer Beware - 2012 Honda Civic
By timd7 - February 16 - 9:51 amThe vibration inherent in this vehicle is unbelievable - and carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel are the result. Buyer beware - this vehicle should have warnings printed everywhere. Honda says - so what - we know the vibration is there - so what. Honda executives said - we duped Americans into paying top dollar for a piece of vibrating crap. Thats why they are redesigning quickly for 2013... What will that mean to the 2012s we have now - the resale on this vehicle is soooooo low already I cant get out of it. So what, Honda customer services said - buy another vehicle. Honda lost my business.

Poorly Designed Lots of Rattles and Buzzes - 2012 Honda Civic
By ielmike - January 29 - 6:32 amI just bought a 2012 Civic and I cant enjoy it because there is a vibrating/rattling sound coming from the dash and it is driving me crazy. I took it in and the service department said there was no noise. Huh? My mechanic and I went for a ride and he said Honda is nuts and there is a problem with the assembly with loose screws and vibrating cables behind the dash. I wish I could enjoy it but I really cant. I am going to get rid of it and get a Toyota. Ill loose a lot of money but i cant stand that noise. I drove from Chicago to Grand Rapids and had terrible neck and should pain afterwards. I could deal with it if it werent for that stupid noise.

40 miles on my new car and its in the SHOP THIS IS RIDICULOUS PLEASE READ - 2012 Honda Civic
By lylarose13 - December 14 - 7:39 pmMy 2012 Honda Civic had 43miles on it when the Check Emissions light came on. I was near the dealer and took it straight in. He said you have to leave it here. I had groceries in the trunk and had to go home only to bring it back and told I could get it that night. Only to get a call saying its not going to be ready until Wednesday only to get a call on Wed saying the car wont be available till Friday if that because they had to order a part thru Honda Factory that was coming from Kentucky. Only to get find out I am asked to be a "Guinea pig" for Honda to put a "black box" in my car to track my car for two weeks to see if this is going to be a deal they need to bulletin.
