A pleasure to own and operate. We added after market leather and heaters for both front seats.

  • Great small SUV with AWD - 2013 Honda CR-V EX AWD - 2013 Honda CR-V

This vehicle was one of the highest rated vehicles ion its class by Consumer Reports and I have been able to see why over the past 2.5 years. The CR-V is a very flexible vehicle that is great for all-around town use, vacation trips, and for transporting large items like flat screen televisions and furniture. It has a comfortable ride, gets good gas mileage in its class, and has great acceleration for a 4-cylinder SUV.

Purchased this vehicle in 2013 certified with 6500 miles. I had to replace the Bridgestones at 39000 miles. Regular maintenence has been done, brakes are original. Hwy mileage is 32-34, city 21-22.5. Cannot beat this small wagon.

  • Oh how I wanted to love this CRV. So disappointed - 2013 Honda CR-V

Beware! Do NOT purchase any CRV made in 2008 or later. My 2013 CR-V that is cared for per manufactures recommendations and driven moderately has been making a terrible grinding noise since about 1 year after purchase. Honda Service has diagnosed the noise as emanating from the VTC Actuator. Noise has become much worse over time and this noise occurs after every cold start. The noise is so loud that it turns heads in parking lots. What is really frustrating is that Honda has know of this issue since 2008 and still has not corrected the problem and does not disclose the issue prior to purchase. Honda simply states, "Yes there is a loud grinding noise but dont worry it is not doing any damage to the engine." This is my fourth Honda (I typically purchase a new car once every 4 to 5 years). This experience has left me resolve to never purchase another Honda. By the way three of my family members own CRV (2011, 2015 and 2016 -- two of the three make the same LOUD grinding noise when starting the engine. Toyota or Subaru here we come.

  • Too old for this car - 2013 Honda CR-V

I have only owned this car for one month, which is why I could not rate all the items listed. The one thing that I do want to complain about is the headrest. It is installed at an angle which is not acceptable to me no matter what I do. I have adjusted the height of the car seat, the steering wheel, the angle of the seat itself and the headrest. I cannot find a combination that allows my head and neck to remain at a comfortable angle, or if I do, the back seat slopes away from my body and does not give me the needed support. In the past I have had a serious problem with pinched nerves in my neck and back. I fear that this car is simply not suited to my physical and medical needs. I did drive the car for about 15 minutes before I decided to buy it. At that time I didnt realize how difficult it would be to adjust the various components to fit my physical needs. In all of my 60 years of driving I have never encountered this problem and I am disappointed in Honda.

  • What Happened? - 2013 Honda CR-V

I did a lot of research for a reliable, efficient and safe vehicle. The first year was great and now the cons list seems to be growing. Ive spoken to other 2013 CRV owners and they are running into a lot more problems than us - a lot that had been listed here - that Im afraid we will be running into soon too. This car is in immaculate condition and things just keep happening for no reason. I bought this new and went from a loaded Chevy to what feels like a stock SUV. Pros: Trunk space Exterior look Safe Gas mileage Cons: Very heavy doors for a smaller person Speakers have terrible sound quality Steering wheel started flaking and falling apart less than a year into owning Crunching sound when first starting Rear view camera just broke for no visible reason Cheap feeling interior - leather and plastics No garage door button Manual passenger side seats Heated seats only have one zone - back and seat instead of each having its own function Dual heat/AC is ineffective - one zone controls both no matter what the temp difference is No pickup LOUD road noise Thin feeling doors when its cold - not sure how this works since the doors are so heavy Manual hatchback closure - Im under 52. Closing the hatchback when its dripping and covered in winter can be messy

  • Great vehicle for the price! - 2013 Honda CR-V

This vehicle sways in the wind even when the wind is not that strong. Visibility along the sides towards the back is very poor, and makes it dangerous because you dont see vehicles in your blind spot.

  • Exactly what I expected - 2013 Honda CR-V
    By -

I bought a used CPO CR-V, its pretty much what I expected. Its a practical, roomy small SUV that is easy to drive and relatively efficient. It rides comfortably, a little choppy but nothing too bad. Its quiet. I expect it to be reliable and safe. A couple of points: 1) It doesnt come with a programmable homelink (garage door) button! Youll either have to use an opener or get something aftermarket. Maybe its an option now but mine doesnt have it. 2) Engine is a little underpowered, steering is numb. Dont expect to have fun or love this car. But, all things considered, I would definitely recommend.
