  • Cant beat the reliability statistics on a Honda - 2013 Honda CR-V
    By -

I was looking for a Honda CR-V that would take me through the next 10 years and I think I found one. One owner, low mileage. Only hitch was a couple of door dings, which was OK by me. Chose not to buy Honda Certified Pre-owned because of the higher price for the certification and the Honda dealer wouldnt work with me on the price or my trade in.

  • Great Buy - 2013 Honda CR-V

The car is attractive and smooth. I have a tech background and love the technology that is has. Overall, Id highly recommend this vehicle. The only issue I have is that its more of a sporty vehicle than a family car.

  • Love this Car! - 2013 Honda CR-V

The Honda CRV is such a comfortable riding car. I have been a Honda owner of cars since 1993. This is first SUV. Just got it a month ago so not sure how repair frequency there will be. But based on my previous Hondas (2004 Accord has 200K miles and still running perfectly) I have no doubt this will be a reliable car as well.

  • Boo for the seats in Honda CRV!! - 2013 Honda CR-V
    By -

We purchased a new CRV in 2002. I was not happy with the seats then. Thought for sure Honda would have improved them by 2013. We just purchased a 2013 and they, in my opinion, are worse that the 2002! We had an Odessey and the seats are amazingly comfortable. Why cant they get it right on thr CRV?? Had it for three miserable weeks then traded it back in for another Odessey. Come on Honda!

  • 2013 Honda CR-V EXL CERTIFIED - 2013 Honda CR-V

Decided to look into certified preowned and am glad I did. Looked at a couple of dealers without much success. Ran from dinged up to smell of smoke, then looked at Herb Chambers in Westborough Ma. They had a much better selection at what I think was a better price. 12 month bumper to bumper and power train to 100000 miles. The car was very clean as if this person that leased it was going to keep it, they put 4 new tires and replaced the brakes. The car rides like new, my wife has a 2014 that we bought new. There isnt any difference really between the two except for color. On my last trip from Boston to Bartlet NH and then to Cape Cod we are averaging 30.7mpg cant do better than that with a car this size. We can load an awful lot of stuff in the car and still have plenty of room. Best Buy for the buck I think.

  • Buy Used - 2013 Honda CR-V

Find a well kept vehicle with low miles and save a few dollars. This vehicle meets expectations and will last if taken care of.

  • VTC actuator makes this car stink - 2013 Honda CR-V
    By -

Same problem as the other reviewer. Grinding noise at every start is sooo irritating. Honestly, if someone wanted to trade me for a 2013 Toyota (something) right now I would. The fact that Honda plays dumb and wont fix the problem they created is disappointing.

  • POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE HARNESS & BATTERY - 2013 Honda CR-V
    By -

BEWARE. Very poor design of positive battery cable connection. Instead of an adequate battery post clamp, it has a copper wire braid instead. This makes it EXTREMELY vulnerable to corrosion if battery leaks. Corrosion eats through copper wire braid and connection to starter is terminated. Car will not start. Fix includes replacement of the entire positive battery cable wire harness. Dealer priced new wire harness at $800 plus labor. Bought new battery and our mechanic rewired new cable to starter because the corrosion traveled down the cable to the starter. Battery should last more than 3-4 years. Googled to find numerous people have had this same problem on other models and years. Registered problem with NHTSA government agency for possible recall since it could result in serious injury or worse. Honda denied having had problem reported.

  • Love my cr-v - 2013 Honda CR-V

This car is very reliable. Derides nicely. It just looks good. The one negative is that it only has one glove box. My 2008 headed to glove boxes.
