  • the best car! - 2012 Honda Accord

the honda accord is one of the best cars I have ever owned. I have the 2012 EX-L V6 with NAVI. the V6 is a very snappy engine! I definitely recommend this engine!!!!!!! it gets you on the highway fast!. I know people make you think the seats are absolutely horrible, but they arent. I could drive 12 hours without any problems. this car is awesome and so reliable!!!!!!! you definitely get what you pay for!!!!!!! We havent had any problems with it besides a check engine light and faulty sensor. (only a 100 dollar fix) the handleing is awesome! it is so responsive, it practically drives itself! a very sporty car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hope you find this helpful!

  • Classic Accord - 2012 Honda Accord

Even though I bought it "used", I got a great deal on a low mileage 2012 Accord V6 Coupe. Having owned 2 previously, I found this one to be classic in its reliability and performance. No surprises. Good, reliable entertainment. The V6 is nice, compared to my previous 4 cylinder Accords. People complain about the drivers side lumbar support as being "agressive". This may be true for most people, however I have a weak back, and find the strong lumbar support to be a blessing. The front seats themselves tend to be a bit "firm". They dont massage you or envelope you in comfort. That would be my only complaint about the 2012 Accord.

I drove a 2002 Bonneville SE for the longest time. Then I graduated college and decided to sell ole reliable and get something with updated safety and overall technology amenities. I had heard a great deal of great things about the reliability of Hondas and the safety of the Accord. So I decided to check it out and fell in love at first drive. I have the 2012 sedan V6 EX-L. I got it certified pre-owned through a Honda dealer in Michigan (who by the way has been fantastic from start to present -- they even held the car for me when I wasnt sure if I was going to get the job I have now). Gas mileage, size, and safety were the reasons I got this car but this thing has gone above and beyond. The attention to detail of button placement, quality of materials, and even the RIDE is incredible. Im used to an air suspension from my boat of a Bonneville so its not luxury standard, but I can definitely feel some Acura refinements in this suspension and ride quality. The steering and transmission are snappy when I need them to be and it has an overall solid, controlled feel when I drive it which makes me feel even better about being on the road in it. I do a LOT of city driving and my typical combined loop is the higher end of 26 mpg(eco is incredible). My highest recorded MPG is from a trip I made from Chicago to Lansing and that was about 42.7 MPG. This is the perfect blend of sporty, SAFE, comfortable, and reliable that a recent college grad (or anyone, really) can ask for and I highly recommend. Plus its easy on the eyes. Ive had it for about four months and Ive only put 9K (bought it with 20K on odometer) on it but I plan on taking this to the 200K mark unless Im convinced to trade in for a newer Accord! Hope this helps for those who are serious about their vehicle shopping, good luck out there!

We leased this car and liked it so much that we bought it! It has been excellent to drive and has never given us any problems! It has been kept in a garage and is clean and smoke-free. Roomy in the front, great air conditioner, moon roof, fully adjustable heated front seats with lumbar support for the driver,

  • Reliable car - 2012 Honda Accord

I have owned this car for 4 yrs. Very reliable, rides smooth, steers very well especially turning sharp for parking, runs great and good gas mileage. Only con to this car...the seats are very uncomfortable, especially on long rides, even using the lumbar support doesnt help. So if looking for comfort rule it out, but a very good car

  • Garbage transmissions - 2012 Honda Accord

2012 Accord is a great car as far as the handling and quality of driving, roomy cabin and very comfortable yet one of the main components is complete trash!!! And that is transmissions. There is absolutely no use of comfort of the car when your trans is acting out at 40k miles and its questionable on weather honda factory waranty is going to own up to it. Thay are very reluctant to take care of their defects and they will most likely try to get out of paying for repairs.

  • Great car for reliability and road feel - 2012 Honda Accord

This car is great for the family. 5 star safety rating and very good reliability rating. I had this car for 4 months now and It feels very solid and performance seems good for a 4 cylinder family sedan. decent acceleration and great handling, defiantly the sportier of the mid size sedans besides the mazda 6. I have been getting 28 mpg going to work and back in light traffic 30 miles round trip with about 4 traffic light stops average. It does not have any tech package just your basic radio and air conditioning but that was not important for me. I wanted a car that I can work on myself if the need be and this one gives you lots of room in the engine bay (due to it also offering a 6 cylinder) My last car was a 1992 Honda accord that I had for 19 years so hopefully this one will last me at least 15. My only gripe is it does seem they used more hard plastics in the dash and back panel where the speakers are. No rattles though.
