  • Riding - 2010 Honda Odyssey

Ive had four adults and two dogs get sick from riding in the back seats. Im going to take it to a dealer about it, but dont think anything will be done about it. Hope Im wrong. The seats are not very comfortable. Took a 5,000 mile trip was stiff from riding. We got out every 200 miles for a rest. Gas mileage isnt as good as my old van was. Passenger side needs more leg room.

Traded a 2003 for 2010. Had 200K on 2003 - excellent car, extremely reliable and great for family transportation. 2010 has nice options like automatic tailgate, navigation, and split rear seat. Miss compartment below passenger side seat. Could use second TV screen for rear seat (view is difficult from there as screen is small). Like moving the spare tire to the rear and getting the extra space in the floor. Especially like the mid seat windows that lower!

We traded in our 2006 for a 2010. We like some of the new changes (especially the auto rear door opener), but we are spoiled because we were disappointed in losing access to the under the floor storage from the drivers seat. We were also disappointed in losing the upper storage area on the back of the driver and front passenger seat (the one with the zippers). Also great to see the built in XM Radio--but can you see the display anymore as we are used to seeing--name of song/artist?? Overall, an awesome vehicle and thats why we bought again.

  • We love our new minivan!!!! - 2010 Honda Odyssey

Downsized from a 2002 suburban due to poor mpg and costly repairs and wanted something smaller than a boat to drive every day shuttling kids around town but yet still have enough cargo room to haul our stuff to frequent soccer tournaments. We really love our new minivan!! Have two boys - tall teenager and a 10 year old that need lots of leg/head room and the second row seats are WAY MORE comfortable than the suburban since the seats can recline all the way back to third row. The kids actually prefer to take the minivan over the suburban when we go to tournaments!! Cargo space, fuel economy and comfort were tops on my list of must haves for our new car and the Odyssey has them all!!!

  • The Ultimate Family Truckster! - 2010 Honda Odyssey

Familys expanding so we traded the 4runner and debated between Sequoia/AWD Sienna/Odyssey. Sequoia is just TOO big & not practical. Didnt like runflats & styling of Sienna. Fell in love with the Odyssey and have no regrets. Its literally like flying in a first class jet. Opted for leather & rear DVD, totally worth it. Averaging 25 MPG on HW and 19 for combined city/HW. Took this on a summer vacation with rear seat folded down and had WAY more cargo room than our old SUV with plenty of seating. Overall, we really like this vehicle. MPG in city could be better, but the room and comfort is totally worth it. This ride is truly the ultimate family truckster!

  • Our first Honda - 2010 Honda Odyssey

As a life long vanner, I have owned nothing but full size vans or Astros. It was time to move as we have grand children. My wife has severe back issues. This van is much easier. for her to get in and out of. My grand children love it as I, just for the wide visibility. We plan on a trip to MN. in April and have no reservations about driving there and back. Possible 6000 mi. Had 74500 when we bought it. We plan on taking this van to a vannin event this summer. Remember....RESPECT THE VAN!!!!!

  • My 3rd Odyssey, probably not my last. - 2010 Honda Odyssey

My 1st Honda Odyssey was a 2000. I put about 100,000 miles on it and traded it in on a 2005 model. I put 100,000 miles on it and traded it in for my 2010. All of them were the EX-L model. I always get the maximum Extended Honda Care warranty and used it to keep them running with NO extra expense. Very few repairs on any of them. My 2010 now has over 112,000 miles and everything works fine. GREAT vehicles. Although my daughter bought a 2012 and it has had numerous problems including having the engine rebuilt under warranty. They always had it serviced by the local Honda dealer. They are going to trade it when their extended warranty runs out next year. I will probably get another new Odyssey next year. Things I like; I can almost use it as a truck for hauling stuff. I use it as a camper when going to a motorcycle race event. Taller seat so I can see better than some cars that are so low. Plenty of seats for taking the family places. Reliability and resale value.

  • It was a great run...Until it wasnt! - 2010 Honda Odyssey

We bought our Odyssey new and have loved it and had no problems with it...until three weeks ago. We have maintained it very regularly in necessary ways. Other than the excessive road noise (so much noise!), we have been exceedingly happy with it. Until three weeks ago when an odd noise started happening. After ruling out the transmission and engine problems, it has been determined that we have an internal problem with a rod. The only answer is total engine overhaul or a total engine replacement. We were told by Honda "Tough Luck!" with no further explanation. I called Honda Americas service line and was essentially told the same thing. I have sworn by Honda...Until now. The service guy at the dealership said that he had never seen this on a car this well maintained. Great...I guess I won the lottery where I loss $6,000 of my money instead of winning.
