  • Back at Home in an Odyssey - 2010 Honda Odyssey
    By -

After having had a 2005 Odyssey, followed by a 2007 Odyssey, we decided to try a Ford Expedition EL. While the Expedition was a nice vehicle, it was not as functional as the Odyssey had been. With 4 young children, the Odyssey was hands down the better vehicle for us. We learned by experience that the big SUVs arent always better. We waited to see photos of the 2011 Odyssey but were not impressed. Since we were familiar with the 2010 Odyssey style and features, we decided to take advantage of the last model year reliability and good incentives. Are we ever excited to be back in our Odyssey! Its an EX-L with RES, dark cherry pearl color. We feel like we are back at home!

  • Great overall, needs some updates - 2010 Honda Odyssey

I just purchased this vehicle yesterday, but I have driven similar Odysseys owned by friends and family. The vehicle is probably the best overall of all minivans in the market, but if you start picking out individual characteristics, you will notice that its not the best at everything. Its like jack of all, master of none in my opinion it may not earn number 1 spot in many of the aspects, but earns a second spot in most of them, and the first in a few.

  • Avoid Honda - 2010 Honda Odyssey

Transmission slipping. I thought Honda had fixed this problem, apparently not. Avoid Honda.

  • Still the best in its class! - 2010 Honda Odyssey

Traded in my 2002 Toyota Sienna to get a 2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L with RES & NAVI. The van rides very smoothly just like a car. We considered the 2011 Toyota Sienna but after seeing/test driving it, we didnt like the fit of the interior trims (cheap material) and didnt find the ride any better than the 2010 Odyssey. Was reluctant about the fact that the 2011 model will be coming out soon but we had an excellent deal on the 2010 model and glad that we did. This is a truly tested and tried model...and I can see the overall quality shining through. One thing negative was that a small part on the bumper had a stain (not noticed during delivery), which had to be wet sanded and repainted.

  • Less than I expected - 2010 Honda Odyssey

This van is very quiet on the road, handles well with a full load of passengers, love the leather, the sun roof, and the auto HVAC, which can be adjusted separately for the driver, passenger, and rear.

  • Honda Odyssey 2010 poor perorming vehicle - 2010 Honda Odyssey
    By -

With all the talk about Honda quality, I was negatively surprised with this NEW Honda Odyssey 2010. Although ride is not bad, I would still say that judging by Honda’s past reputation, this minivan scores average or below. The overall feel of a quality build car, is not present here. Main disappointment is the extremely low fuel economy. While Honda states avg about 20 MPG (17/24) is simply not realistic. I am hardly getting 11 MPG! I have had several older vehicles and none of them provided such low MPG. Some other minor issue which all add up to regretting of buying this: I would recommend: I fuel economy is important to you, do some research on other minivans before getting an odyssey

  • Overall nice car - 2010 Honda Odyssey

Bought our first minivan 3 months ago with 3000 mi driven. Getting 18-22mpg so far on freeway/city driving. So far no major problems except a few body panels being loose at the edges. Taking it to dealer to get it fixed. Hard to modulate brakes smoothly. Noticed you have to press pretty far down in order to stop if you are going at a decent speed (30-40 mph), but I think its just a matter of getting used to the weight of the vehicle. Overall, nice size vehicle if you want to haul people and things.

  • Upgrade after failed engine - 2010 Honda Odyssey
    By -

Upgraded to 2010 model after engine suddenly failed on 2007 with only 75K miles on it. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed but bought another one because I got dealer to pay off old loan. I am keeping my fingers crossed, hoping we dont have engine problems this time around. Although the dealer worked with me in the end, I had to really fight to get them to pay off my loan with the trade- in. It was especially difficult dealing with the salesperson who sold me the 2007 van. I had to negotiate with the sales manager instead because of the salespersons unwillingness to pay off my loan and give me a good price on a new van. It was very disappointing since the 2010 is my 3rd Honda.

  • Love Our Odyssey - 2010 Honda Odyssey
    By -

We are very happy with our Odyssey. We have the EX-L with the RES. Our kids love the DVD quality and the wireless head sets. We love the tri-climate controls, back up camera, power remote sliding doors and tailgate, and all the fun toys Honda included. We are averaging 22 MPG and do mostly city driving. We are taking a trip to Florida (from TX) in August and cant wait to drive the Odyssey there. We have found the ride to be comfy and quiet even on the highway. We considered the Pilot as well but loved the Odyssey so much more.

  • What a nice minivan! - 2010 Honda Odyssey
    By -

First, I want to point out that this is our very 1st minivan. We actually never thought we would own a minivan, until our friends bought an Odyssey 2 years ago. My wife and I are very pleased with our new Alabaster Silver Odyssey EX with grey cloth interior (we did a 3 year lease). We have had the Odyssey for 1 month and 1,000 miles so far. The Odyssey is very smooth, quiet, comfortable, surprisingly fun to drive, excellent interior, plenty of room, and gas mileage is 18MPG so far in city only. The front driver seat/passenger seat is very comfortable (grey cloth) and the middle captain chairs are fantastic too. Overall, the fit/finish is excellent and we truly enjoy our Odyssey!
