  • Osdessy not my car - 2004 Honda Odyssey

I have found the the Montana is a better car to drive than the Odessy. The Gas mileage is 25% better in the Montana. This will be my last Honda.

  • Best Vehicle I have Owned - 2004 Honda Odyssey

I have owned 2 other van models - a Nissan and a Toyota. The Odyssey is much better in every category. Power, Handling, Seating Configs, Quality Control, and great Gas Mileage.

After spending 3 hours at a Toyota dealership we went to Honda and bought the Odyssey in 15 minutes for dealer invoice! Toyota was not willing to go below MSRP and the car had no power seats/leather seats ect... We got a great car for a great price!

  • A Real Work Horse - 2004 Honda Odyssey

I have driven my Odyssey about 22K miles per year for the past almost 6 years and it has been extremely reliable as well offering exceptional versatility. I frequently carry a lot of equipment for my job and other times a full load of furniture and antiques for my wifes antique shows. We frequently go to dinner and/or a show with 2 other couples and the ability to carry 6 adults comfortably is a big advantage. The only negatives are the occasional rough downshifts of the transmission (which my dealer told me early on is normal for this vehicle) and the relatively unforgiving suspension that is an negative here on the rough roads of Ohio. Overall, it has been a real pleasure to own.

  • 1st and Last Honda - 2004 Honda Odyssey

I bought this van as our family grew and we needed more room and wanted it to be reliable. It was a certified van with 29,000 mi on it. After purchase, I immediately became unsatisfied with the amount of road noise and interior functions malfunctioning. Issues were fixed under certified warranty. At 50,000 mi (current) started to have transmission shuddering even though maintenance schedule has been followed. After 3 trips to the dealer and a call to Honda, they are replacing the transmission under warranty. Dont know how many miles this one will last, but hopefully until I can trade it. Van depreciated horribly and will probably have to keep it another 2 years to break even on trade.

  • Im a Believer! - 2004 Honda Odyssey

This is a near-perfect people hauler. The layout is user friendly, easily fitting my family of five (three kids in car seats fit well). Access is great. Performance is surpisingly excellent. Passing traffic is easy. Visibility is good. Quick turns dont even upset this minivan. Still waiting to see how it does in Spokane snow.

  • Great van-poor gas mileage!!! - 2004 Honda Odyssey

I have had my 2004 Odyssey for about 2 months now and there are only 3 things I can complain about. So far I have only averaged about 13 miles per gallon in the city and the van is rated at 18 mpg! The exterior styling could use to be a bit more...well...stylish in my opinion! Lastly, althought it is awesome that the rear seat folds into the florr I reall wish Honda could find a way to also make it so the rear seat could slide forward or backwards for more or less legroom.

Good Van. Interior noise is higher than my expectation. It should be quieter. Noise level is par as GM Venture/Transport Vans. Steering is great but typical Honda ride, little too harsh for me. Fit and finish is excellent. Same issue with many Odessey owners - transmission clunks into reverse from park when it is cold (winter).

  • Possibly the best car ever - 2004 Honda Odyssey

I have had 4 Accords prior to buying the Odyssey. This is an amazing van. Its safe, comfortable, fun to drive, and has Hondas thoughtfulness in every detail. I was a little bit disappointed in the mileage at first, but it has improved as the van has broken in. I drive between 25-30k per year and this is by far the most comfortable vehcile Ive ever owned. Highly recommended!

  • Many things to offer but... - 2004 Honda Odyssey

Out of all the other vans I looked at this one was by far the most smartest minivan buying decicions I could make. The mpg was good, price was much lower than toyota and dodge, and I know that Honda builds very realiable cars. It even looks better than all the other vans with its unique front face and long sides ending with large tail lights. And you know when it comes with 240hp it has the capabilities to do the unthinkable. I had an old Dodge caravan but that didnt last very long. It would stall all the time, even on stop lights and sometimes it can take more than 10 tries to get it working. It only had about 200hp and it didnt offer much. Glad I bought it
