This SUV has a lot of space inside. Very comfortable for four adults...back seat is plenty big for average adult men. And there is a lot of cargo room with the seats up. I put a 16 foot ladder inside with the seats down. Just fit. The stereo is totally lackluster, the sound quality is really not good. I wish at EX-L trim you got a better stereo. Engine has enough power when not in Eco mode, but the driving dynamics are nothing special, though a fairly comfortable ride. Tested the Mazda CX-5 and that is much better driving. The mpgs on CRV are okay, especially when in Eco mode. Ive gotten 31-32 on the highway doing 70 with flat terrain and high twenties mixed driving around town. Least favorite par to of this car, considering how boring it is otherwise, is the road noise. I am looking to sell a car I bought new 2.5 years ago because I cant stand driving on the open road. And like I said, the stereo doesnt do a good job covering that up. Dont buy this car if you want a quiet ride. Unless you drive 30 mph everywhere you go.

I have always had fantastic luck with Honda. My first new car was an Accord. One of my favorite cars of all time was a Pilot. The Pilot was great with teenage kids and all their friends and activities. One of my daughters chose a Civic as her first car. It held its value very well. Netting out the insurance payment after the last crash from the purchase price, she drove it for seven years and 92,000 for a little over $5000. After my kids were gone, I downsized to a CRV. This is my second one. The first one I traded my lease in at the end of the three years even up--even though it had 66,000 miles and needed tires. They are dependable in all types of weather from Wisconsin winter to California hot summer. This car has always driven great and the only reason that I am selling it is to buy a new car.

If the TPMS illuminates, either put $1.50 in BP air pump and do it yourself, or, if convenient, drive to dealer and have him equalize pressure. This should be free. Need better sun visors, maybe builtin extensions. Good car

  • Best vehicle yet owned (Im 60) - 2014 Honda CR-V

Dealer quality was a major factor here: this was 3rd Honda purchased new - all of which came with a "Platinum Package" providing free oil changes, state inspections and other great discounts. Have learned that package is no longer offered ( too good a deal). Maintenance costs of all Hondas Ive owned has been very low, so far with this CRV its been the best. Love the car in all aspects except for noises: rattles and jingling in the back and annoying plastic clattering noises in dash/windshield area. Dealer has not been able to find easily, and Im not willing to tear the interior panels apart to find what it is at this stage. Other than noises, I have high hopes that the CRV will last to 150K miles.

  • Pros and Cons - 2014 Honda CR-V

Pros: Its great to sit up high in traffic so I can see well ahead. The electric seats are very easy to adjust. The car has good power and responds quickly. The back-up monitor is well placed, is easy to see and understand, and helps me keep track of anything behind the car. Steering wheel adjusts in so many ways that I feel very comfortable driving. I like the car, but I miss my previous car. I bought this car so I could tow it behind my RV. I couldnt tow my previous car 4-wheels down behind the RV. All of the following Cons are based on differences between this car and my previous car (a Prius). Cons: The steering wheel gets in the way of viewing the speedometer, dials, and problem indicators, so I have to take my eyes off the road and bend my head to see how fast Im going or to make sure there are no problem indicators lit up. The speedometer is not digital, so I have to guesstimate my speed. The ride is rougher than my previous car, and feels bouncier. With my previous car, I never needed to use a key. I could just touch the drivers door handle and the car would unlock as long as I had the key in my pocket or purse, and the car had a push-button start. Now, I must have my key in my hand to open the door and to start the car (which means digging in my purse to find the key). Just a slight inconvenience, but difficult to deal with after 7 years of the previous car.

Here in florida this ride is perfect! no issues at all. everyone that comes inside it passangers all love it! i get compliments constantly. have had since 0 miles . now has over 10k and no issues. go in on time for all my oil changes. For those bad reviewers, its probably since they live in harsh snowy areas but here in flat florida its perfect! A/C cools fast in this hot florida weather , smooth ride always, weve taken it for long trips up and down the florida coast and not one peep. highly recommend this little SUV for anyone who has dogs or kids. My dogs love the cargo space ! Recommend getting the weather techs floor liners to protect the floor rugs. plan to have my baby for years to come!

This was our 4th Honda automobile. It was also our last. This model was extremely noisy, rough riding and technologically insufficient. The navigation system was not user friendly and in fact our salesman couldnt show us how to use it. Very poor quality compared to previous years. Traded it for a 2015 Ford Edge. Bye, bye Honda.

If youre looking for a vehicle that has a lot of passenger and cargo space but is still fun to drive, the crv is what youre looking for. The seats are comfortable even for a short old lady. Im sitting up higher and it has a backup camera so I have a great view of everything around me. I love the fog lights...everything is visible...even dark roads at night. And it looks hot. Im proud to drive it.
