  • Nice car EXPENSIVE Oil Changes! - 2010 Honda CR-V

This is my second CR-V. I love the look of the car and I truly enjoy driving it. I had the 2007 and was offered a great deal for a 2010, so I bought my second CR-V. My first oil change with Honda was free but the second oil change was $69.95 with Honda. I was shocked. he dealership told me they use 0-20 grade oil now for the 2010 and it is more expensive! I was angry and wish I was told this BEFORE I purchased the vehicle. I asked if this expensive oil means getting less oil changes, the dealership said NO, every 3500 miles! Why the change? Why have an Oil life indicator? What is the advantage? The car really does not perform any better than the 2007 with regular oil.

I just got this vehicle a few weeks ago and am really very satisfied so far. Mileage is good and ride is comfortable.

  • Another good one so far - 2010 Honda CR-V

We have had ten hondas during the last 25 years. Each one has been better than the last. Like most, this one hasnt had a single defect yet. I know its early, but so far so good. Especially like that the ride is quieter than our 2004 Odyssey, and the mileage is 24 mpg, 5 mpg more than Odyssey. I find the instrumentation excellent with the Gage for obtaining best mileage useful. Excellent handling and braking, no major blind spots. I find it very competent. Exterior styling could be upped some tho.

  • Honda Hits Another Home Run - 2010 Honda CR-V

Best value for the money. The quality of the Honda CR-V is far superior to that of Toyotas RAV4. Its very comfortable to drive, has an excellent navigation system, solid performance, and RELIABLE! Having looked at many other CR-Vs, Honda provides the best value for the money. It is very roomy, with back seats that easily fold up like an accordion for more room. The dashboard has a smart layout, with controls on the driving wheel, plenty of leg room, well designed and fun to drive. Great visibility and handling on the road - a very well built car.

  • Month One and a half - 2010 Honda CR-V

Questions about build problems have been elevated after I took the car to the dealer for a "once over" - Note: I have been very happy with this dealer, the issue that I have is with the CR-V - produced in Mexico - I am a fan of Mexican manufacturing but not here. I have discovered missing parts, misaligned body panels, strange noises, and after a overnight loaner of a 09 CR-V, I am convinced that my 3000 mile old car has some very serious issues. My wife and son both asked me if the loaner had a v-6 (of course Honda doesnt offer a v-6) the difference in the way the car ran was that noticable. Make sure you look over your CR-V carefully before driving away.

My CR-V is my dream car. The ride is very smooth. I barely feel the bumps in the road. The leather seats are very comfortable.

  • Honda CR-V Its okay.. - 2010 Honda CR-V

This was the type of vehicle I was looking for. I considered a number of vehicles from different manufacturers, but went with Honda for the quality and reliability. I like the interior and exterior designs. Disappointed in the power and gas mileage. Mine hesitates on acceleration and that bothers me.

This is our fourth Honda, and our first small SUV. This is a very practical vehicle and is fun to drive (no sports car, but fun). Unfortunately, the build quality of this car is much worse then any of the Hondas that we have owned in the past (all Accords). We didnt seriously consider other brands during this search because of our past experience. After one month I am regretting that decision, missing interior trim pieces, loose exterior trim. Body panel alignment that is spotty and tonight when pulling into the garage, a new sound from under the hood. I am going to ask the dealer to go over it with a fine tooth comb. I used to enthusiastically recommend Honda, now I am not so sure.

  • Happy Honda owners so far - 2010 Honda CR-V

We are very happy w/ our CRV EX-L AWD the styling reminds me of the more expensive acura or lexus. the performance is very nice and fuel mileage is 26+ everyday driving. this is one 4x4 that my wife says is very easy to drive and get in and out of both for her and her mother. smooth ride, great performance, no blind spots, outstanding sound system. there are only 2 things that i wish Honda would have done, for the price of one of these, fog lights should be included on the EX-L at least, but i will have some installed. the other problem will not be so easy to fix which is the splash guards need to be a little longer to keep road debris off of the vehicle. We love our Honda

  • Second Updates - 2010 Honda CR-V
    By -

This is my second updates for 2010 CR-V after 3000 miles of road trip from Bay Area to Yellowstone National Park, then to Las Vegas and back to the Bay Area. Quiet/Comfort: don’t expect to have quiet level as Acura/Lexus, it is little bit noisy on high speed. The seats are very comfortable and supportive (some reviewers complained too hard for them, understandable. But I like them that way) Handling/Maneuverability: I used to have Honda Pilot, but found it too big and was not as much fun to drive as CR-V. This CR-V handles the winding/twisting roads easily. The suspension is just right, but it can be harsh when runs on unpaved roads. Design: don’t like much the exterior design.
