Overview & Reviews
The 2000 Honda CR-V gets a new SE (Special Edition) package that features a leather-lined cabin.
- Honda quality, spacious interior, good highway ride.
- Not enough torque, noisy at high speeds, goofy window switch placement.

Kelly - 2000 Honda CR-V
By ibekel - August 14 - 2:00 amI have had my CR-V for two years. It is very reliable and very easy to drive. It has big windows to easily see outside-no blind spots at all. Also, I love sitting higher than a regular car. It has manual transmission, which is a little noisy at times, but I would never have bought the automatic if I would have done it all over. The manual is just more fun in my opinion.

A wonderful vehicle - 2000 Honda CR-V
By RWM - August 2 - 2:00 amWhat can I say - its a great vehicle if you want comfort, ease of use, reliability, and room. If you want power, off road utility, or hauling look elsewhere because the CRV and Honda make no pretenses about doing those things well here.

Thumbs Up - 2000 Honda CR-V
By elois - July 2 - 2:00 amAs a relatively short person I find an ease in getting in and out of the vehicle without needing running boards. It is large enough to see around other vehicles in parking lots yet not so big that you feel you are driving a tank. The only flaw which has since been corrected in the 2002 model is the lack of horsepower for its size.

Great for SMALL family - 2000 Honda CR-V
By WHODEY - May 1 - 2:00 amI love the CR-V. Its reliable, runs well and (with the rear seats down) hauls a lot of cargo. Unfortunately, once my wife and I add a second child we will need to upgrade as it just wont carry all of our stuff when we travel long distances.

2000 C-RV - 2000 Honda CR-V
By Jeff Sorenson - April 25 - 2:00 amNot one service repair in 2 years and 30,000 miles. Perfect for small children because the back seat sits up higher and they can see. Never use the picnic table and get teased about it quite a bit. Only thing to be aware of is that there is a lot of road noise in the vehicle. We looked at cute-utes from Toyota, Suzuki, and Kia. It was well worth the extra money to get a Honda.

A+ reliability - 2000 Honda CR-V
By michael chang - April 3 - 2:00 amVery reliable Honda. drove 33k Mi without any problem. The CR-V is not really for racing or extreme off-road. Its a friendly fun SUV.

Great Car - 2000 Honda CR-V
By Wheeler - April 2 - 2:00 amI love it. This car was also a perfect fit for me. I researched for months before buying it. It is a bigger car that doesnt overwhelm you, it gets good gas milege for its size, just a really fun car to drive. Now I am about to buy a new 2002!!
