  • Very Practical Ride - 1999 Honda CR-V

Great Utility vehicle and super reliable. I cant believe how much stuff will fit in the back with seats down. I practically remodeled an entire house without needing a truck.

  • LOVE this car!! - 1999 Honda CR-V

I bought this car in April 2006 and absolutely LOVE my Honda!! I have had to replace my timing belt and water pump at 92,000 for the very first time in my Hondas life but otherwise its great in winter weather,g reat to transport my dog and me. Great on gas for a 5spd. Id buy another in a heartbeat! I LOVE my Honda CR-V!

  • A Must Have - 1999 Honda CR-V

I have had this SUV for almost 9 years and have had no problems what-so-ever! I highly recommend this vehicle for everyday use. The only minor thing I had to replace, besides the usual tires, oil and filters, was the rear-differential fluid (at 100,000 miles) because it made a grinding noise when maneuvering tight turns. Great gas mileage between 23 and 26 city. It handled snow great! It also has child-safety locks for the back doors and windows. I would purchase another CR-V in a heartbeat, but dont particularly like the exterior of the newer models.

  • Best All Around - 1999 Honda CR-V

This has been the best used car I have ever purchased. I would like a new car but think I will hold on to this one a while longer. No major problems.

  • Last Honda?? - 1999 Honda CR-V

Performance and fuel mileage with the engine/automatic transmission are sub par. At 68,000 miles the cylinder head needs to be replaced, according to the dealer, who will pay for the parts, but refuses to pay for the labor, estimated at over $1200. I have owned Hondas since 1978, but the dealer and American Hondas unwillingness to accept responsibility for this very common problem will terminate this relationship.

  • Good little Honda - 1999 Honda CR-V

I love everything about my Honda-CRV with the exception of two minor things. I did not like when my antenna broke off, but it was probably broken off by someone. Not Hondas fault. I also grew less in love with the manual transmission by the day. Seven years later, Ill admit it, Im lazy and Ive shifted enough. No more sticks in my life. Of course, this isnt Hondas problem. This car is a GREAT winter car. Even in 10 inch snowfalls, I couldnt get stuck.

  • LOVE MY CR-V! - 1999 Honda CR-V

I absolutely love my CR-V. Ive had it for 7 years and 140,000 miles with no break-downs... just regular things like new tires, battery, etc. It has been a very convenient car for having two small children. Plus, its sporty. Its traveled all over the USA with no problems ever. Im getting ready to trade it in on a new CR-V.

  • My kind of car - 1999 Honda CR-V

This car is very fuel efficient, comfortable and in my opinion has some spunk. I can get my car to go pretty quickly. Id buy another in a heart beat.

  • Wonderful Car to Own - 1999 Honda CR-V
    By -

Ive owned the CRV since 5/99 and have over 100,000 miles on it. There have been no major breakdowns or flaws. Some things are now needing to be replaced: the catalytic converter is one. The heating system/radiator needs some work now. But it is reliable and has never broken down on me. Mileage is great and it handles well, in snow or horrible rain. Id buy another CRV in a heartbeat.

  • Satisfied - 1999 Honda CR-V

I bought my 1999 CRV new and have been very satisfied with its reliability and functionality. I haul around a dog, groceries, sports equipment and kids with backpacks. I cant think of another car that is better suited for what I need. I owned two Camrys prior to this CRV and I can say for sure that the CRVs interior features are poorer quality than Toyota and here are some examples: stereo was horrible in the CRV but good in the Camry, air conditioning is horrible in the CRV but awesome in the Camry. The CRV doesnt have much "get up and go" if I need to accelerate quickly from a stop. I LOVE the AWD feature and it is fun to drive in the snow.
