  • My first Honda after 36 years of Toyotas - 2017 Honda Accord

I love this car. It has the space, the luxury, the technology, and the pep that I wanted. The Accord is not as quiet as my Toyotas, nor is the music/sound system as good. But both complaints are minor, and this car offers more bang/value for the buck than the equivalent Avalon. Im happy with my choice.

  • 2017 ex-l v6 coupe...sweet ride !! - 2017 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my first Honda and i am extremely impressed. I test drove a couple of higher end coupes before test driving this Honda and for the money you cant beat the EX-L. Very sporty and surprisingly QUICK !! With 3 driving options , ECO Drive, Sport mode or Paddle Shifter, this car is a blast to drive. If you like Gadgets this is the car for you, especially with the apple car play !! Two tone leather heated seats is also very comfortable !! Having trouble seeing traffic on the passenger side to switch lanes ? Dont worry , this car has you covered with a passenger side camera mounted under the mirror that shows you the whole right lane !!........I can go on and on, but get out and drive this car,you too will give it a thumbs up !!

  • love my Accord - 2017 Honda Accord

Before I bought this car I had done a lot of research on it so I pretty much knew the ins and outs before I even bought it Honda is a real reliable motor Ive been running on Honda motors for many many years I have very little complaints like the carpets were cheap the floorboard is cheap hand the clipse that they use to hold the panels together are cheap but all in all it is a gorgeous car and I can deal with the little problems like that but I love the new design I love the new interior it is all around a gorgeous car we came from a luxury vehicle and I feel Honda has really made the Accord a nice lunch review. Has to be the touring model its the best one

  • Close to Perfection - 2017 Honda Accord

This is my second 9th gen Accord Touring, so Im obviously a fan of Honda and this iteration of Accord. The 2017 9.5 gen is even more refined than my 2014, with a smoother operating engine that has more seamless VCM transitions between 3 and 6 cylinders, more supple ride quality due to the reactive amplitude dampers and revised rear bushings, vastly improved and updated infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, improved, more eye-catching styling, Honda Sensing safety features, and additional luxury features, such as rain-sensing wipers, full LED headlights with auto LED highbeams and heated rear seats. In Lunar Silver Metallic with deeply tinted windows, the car often attracts compliments. The acceleration is outstanding and the J-series V6 is a real gem: one of Wards Best engines for 2014, its smooth and rev-happy, with a mean, intoxicatingly joyous sound when worked hard into VTEC range (5100 rpm). It makes higher trim Accords feel like a completely different beast than those powered with i4s and CVTs. If theres any downside, it would have to be the POS Continental ProContact tires that Honda has chosen for models with 19" wheels. Too narrow in both width and sidewall, the tires explode at seemingly the tiniest impact, which is probably one of the reasons why such a reliable automaker now has a roadside assistance program. Having owned my 2017 for 6 months, I speak from experience as I have now had 3 blowouts since December 2016. At $362/tire, premature replacement of tires due to blowouts has to be the largest, if only downside to my ownership experience thus far.

  • Dont need navigation - 2017 Honda Accord

You can hook up your phone and use Google maps on the touch screen via Android Auto (or a similar iPhone app). Handles great and comfortable ride.

  • Not the best road handling, almost lost control - 2017 Honda Accord

Recommend you test drive over 30 minutes on highway, ramps, and curves. The front driver seat is uncomfortable and feels like a lump in lower back even after adjusting lumbar support. With two display Windows theres a lot to view and is distracting punching buttons while driving. Its hard to see the speed you are driving at quick glance. It would be nicer if there was a Marker to show speed range between 55 and 65 mph. There no fast way to mute music. Brake pedal feels far away and hard to stop. This car almost went out of control on a curve. It does not drive as well as my old Volvo of 12 years. So, still adjusting to a bigger car.

  • Good car but Honda can do better - 2017 Honda Accord
    By -

its a good car but not a great car. Theres a lot of nice technological features. The car rides smooth. Its nice looking. Couple issues though. First, the cvt transmission isnt great In city driving. Jerks at low speeds. Car doesnt want to stop easy as theres no downshift. Infotainment is slow responding. Wheels look nice but they stick out from the tire making it easy to get curb rash. Mileage in the city is not good.
