  Something to think about!! - 2017 Honda Accord

  just bought this 2017 accord exl-v6 in white. Mud guards were not in the picture when I bought it. So I have a white car with black mud guards. Noticed it right away and do not like the look. Changes the sleek look. When shifting into gears the only letters that light up in red are Park and Neutral. I have to double check on the dash to see if Im in drive or S mode. A simple thing thats very annoying. Not heres the biggest annoyance........when driving over 30 mph and then let up on the pedal because of a red light coming up ( or whatever) you can feel the car down shift into a lower gear. Dont like that feel. Will be taking it back to have checked. Maybe it needs to be tweaked !! Otherwise......was really wowed when I bought.

  Feel the road a bit more than I would like, the internal touch screen panel is far from intuitive but is not as bad as some reviewers say, and the UBS port needs to be moved out of the center console to the main control area. These are all very minor complaints. Everything else about the car is excellent-- absolutely top notch-- and, as a repeat Honda buyer, reaffirms why I usually buy Honda products and why the Accord is always rated as one of the best cars. You simply cannot get a better all around car--- for more or less money-- than a Honda. Interior comfort is excellent, the 4 cylinder engine provides plenty of power- even with multiple passengers in the car, MPG is great, and everything was delivered in perfect working condition. Visibility from drivers seat is excellent. I love my new Accord so far.

  Design is appealing and slick, turns heads. Interior looks/feels rich. Instrument well designed, with balanced brightness at night. Headlights sufficient brightness, taillights gorgeous at night. Leather Seats are comfortable and easy to adjust (power mode), seats warmer both side (driver/passenger). Stereo volume sufficient, controls on steering wheel makes it effortless to control/adjust/change channel. Leather wrapped steering wheel feels rich and smooth. Cabin is roomy front/back, trunk sufficient space. Ride is comfortable. "S" mode makes car glue on road, increase engine response which translates for faster acceleration. Small wind noise at center of driver side window at 65+ mph. Engine super quiet at idle and roars at high rpm. Transmission shifting super smooth, unnoticeable. Great gas mileage. Overall, car is best buy in my book.

  Driving aides can be a bit intrusive and sensitive. Car came to a complete stop on several occasion for approaching objects on the road that are 1" high (i.e. entrance access barriers, metal road construction covers). Both screens have some duplicate information which sometimes makes the other obsolete. Adaptive Cruise Control will sometimes apply the brakes pretty aggressive as you approach a car versus gradually decrease the speed. Interior is very comfortable, good interior storage, quiet ride, however, the rear speaker deck has a tendency to rattle as you increase the bass. Gas mileage is pretty standard for the class. Price is really good. The depreciation is horrible! A little over a 30% percent decrease.

  I bought 2017 lx honda accord in ending May. Its really good for the price and with no maintenance. Beautiful car with safety. I recommend this car in Sedan family.

  Comfortable, agile, manual transmission sedan - 2017 Honda Accord

  The car doesnt corner as flat as a BMW and doesnt have the most powerful engine at this trim level, but it is quite fast and toss-able on a country road. The slightly gruff, very responsive character of the non-turbocharged 4-cylinder has won me over. The engine loves to rev, feels alive and is your friend for a fast drive, as is the handling, which is agile and sure footed as long as you feed the car some power through fast corners -- if you lift off or are timid with it, it can get a bit twitchy and nervous. On balance Id much sooner have this car with its absence of electronic add-ons, than an option-laden front-heavy V6 that is great for freeway acceleration but doesnt not have the balance of a four and is lumbered with an automatic transmission. Having come from European and U.S brands, it was great to get into a new car and have simply nothing wrong with it. Best points: engine performance; handling; steering; reliability; the standard halogen headlights are very effective -- really as good as HIDs; value for money; passenger space; San Marino Red color. Worst points, minor stuff but: stereo sounds boxy and tinny with a treble bias that cant really be dialed out (lessons to be learned from GMs ability to get decent balanced sound from a modest system); Bluetooth radio streaming sometimes fails -- may be the iPhone at fault; Im not doubt in the minority on this but I would prefer a fully manual climate control system -- this one does not seem good at holding a comfortable temperature and airflow volume in winter when set to full auto with a setting of, say, 72 degrees (but summer A/C performance seems strong). Overall, this car does pretty much everything I care about very well and I am glad I bought it.

  This is the 4th Honda ive bought. im very satisfied with its performance, low maintenance & overall good looks.
