I bought the 15 Sport in early July and took it on a tour of the North East for most of the month of August with my wife and daughter. Over all ride was comfortable with the drivers seat roomy for my 62 frame. Performance was great with 189 hp a noticeable jump from my old 05 accords 160hp. I found the CVT a bit jerky at a hard acceleration until 35mph or so. Its paddle shifting was fun going through the mountains. Excellent gas mileage with some tankfills averaging above 36. I will agree that the sound system could be better but it is adequate. I will say that when I picked the car up from the dealership, on the ride home down the interstate I felt the ride was a bit rough. When I got home I checked the tire pressures and they were over inflated. Next morning with cool tires I set the pressures per the recommendations and there was a noticeable improvement. If I get 282000 miles on this 15 like I did with my 05 with minimal maintenance I will be a happy camper.

Do your research. I went to Planet Honda in Denver and got an excellent price on a new Sport. My big requirement was that the car be a manual. Planet Honda was able to obtain one at a very reasonable price. I have had the car for about 2 months and have put over 5000 miles on the vehicle. I have been very happy with the car overall. I drove the car from Denver back to Rapid City the day that I purchased it and was immediately impressed with the comfort of the seats. After 6 hours of driving I was un-fatigued and not at all sore. The vehicle drove very well, although the shifter takes some getting used to. Im not sure if it was because I was switching from a 5 speed 2007 Honda Accord or if the 6 speed is just different than most. Once I got used to it, it hasnt been an issue. The performance is quite lively, especially (and in my opinion, only) with the stick. Ive been getting about what the EPA predicted for mileage, which is impressive given my exuberant driving style. The big downside to the vehicle is the lack of a decent stereo. My old Accord had an aftermarket stereo and speakers with a small subwoofer. The Sport only has a 4 speaker stereo. While it is not bad for a base stereo, I would prefer a little bit more oomph. But I imagine that it would be fine for the majority of consumers. When I was looking for a new car one of the main vehicles, aside from the Accord, was a GTI. Obviously the GTI is a quicker car and the Accord gives up a little bit of speed and sportiness. The big draw of the Accord over the GTI is the roominess of the Accord. We have a 3 year old and he had a lot more space in the back of the Accord, obviously. While we were able to get his booster seat in the GTI, I had to put it in the middle seat to provide enough leg room for him. I have several friends and coworkers who are over 6 feet tall and I have yet to hear a complaint about lack of room. It is just a very comfortable car. This is starting to ramble so I will end by saying that despite the new car smell having worn off, so to say, that I am still very much enamored with this car.

my HOnda Accord Sport has 18 inch tires that make you feel like you are driving on a cloud, the most comfortable car to drive and the price is fantastic for the quality of this car. i just love it. it has lumbar support, blue tooth etc. test drive one and you will absolutely love it.

I love honda. the only downside of the coupe is the cheesy material of the seats if you dont get leather. Also the handling is not great like an audi but that is 18 grand more so. I love this car just make sure you get the leather.

  • Honda EX Rocks - 2015 Honda Accord

I guess your previous vehicle affects your view of this one. To me, the Accord EX rides like a dream and is incredibly quiet. My previous car? A 2006 Subaru Outback wagon that, quite literally, found every bump a true joy and whose road noise was so loud I strained to hear my passengers during normal conversation. This car? Quiet. It steers with ease, accelerates quickly, and is fun to drive. The main reason we purchased it, however, was the sudden growth of our 2 kids and the need for more interior space. If youre looking for that, the Accord excels. There is plenty of legroom for both front and rear passengers (we are all tall folk). The buttons and menus are easy to use and, mostly, intuitive. The rear A/C vents help to more efficiently cool the back seat passengers. And, the fuel economy, in mixed driving, has been a great 32 mpg. Our last extended trip (5 hours total) netted 38mpg overall...we had a fierce headwind going home. So far, Im loving this car. We tinted the windows, added all-weather floor mats, and will, hopefully drive it until it dies. Lets hope thats later rather than sooner.

  • Very Nice Practical Sedan - 2015 Honda Accord

Havent had this car long enough to talk about reliability but after being a Ford lifer and having one not so good Ford experience I opened up to all non-luxury makes. I took a few months to drive and research everything before purchasing this Honda. It came down to comfort and reputation. I felt the overall comfort in this car at this price point is top notch, youll have to spend well over 30K to truly beat it. Interior space/comfort, road noise, ride, handling and sight lines are great! Styling, electronics, performance are all good and on par with other cars in this class. Pricing was fantastic, purchased during the Honda summer event, clearing out the 15s and were able to negotiate a deal for thousands less than MSRP (and nearly $2000 less than TruCars target price) and get slightly over KBB excellent condition trade-in value on our trade. So far I love the car but if I had to pick it apart the trunk is where Id start. They need to have a split back seat available for those times you need the extra cargo space plus a 3rd passenger, the trunk support arms encroach into the trunk space like a cheap compact and Honda doesnt have an automatically opening trunk were it fully opens at the push of a button on your key fob. In my opinion the closest competition you should compare if youre considering the Honda in order is the Mazda 6, Hyundai Sonata, Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry, Kia Optima and Volkswagen Passat. I wouldnt waste my time with the Chrysler 200, Nissan Altima, or Chevrolet Malibu. I almost bought the Mazda but its more of a sports car type feel instead of a well refined sedan so its all in what youre looking for, the Mazda is a very fun car to drive.

  • Bumpy, rough ride - 2015 Honda Accord
    By -

I have driven Accords/Acura TL since 1985. I like many things about this car, but I regret the purchase and will trade it in after a few years. Positives are power, little engine noise, and technology. I especially like the right sided camera. The downer is the terrible bumpy, rough ride. The slightest irregularities in the road are transmitted (? magnified) to the driver and passenger in a very unpleasant manner. This is not "good road feel". The car came with Goodyear tires, 17 inch wheels. The bumpy ride gives me the sensation that the tires are overinflated (they are not) or that the suspension is faulty). This is a fatal flaw for me in an otherwise excellent car. I cannot give the car 4 stars overall or for value when I do not like it and regret the purchase. My other Honda/Acura cars have been great, and I am not going to recommend another car. I just hope they fix this problem quickly.

Just got the car with OTD $24,000. Impressed with this car. But Honda still has a lot of road noise.

  • honda seats still suck after all these years - 2015 Honda Accord
    By -

Owner 07/13&15 models exl leather. Great cars except for one major issue THE SEATS SUCK. How can honda consistently screw up such a basic feature ? Who the hell cares if the seats last two thousand years if you cant sit in the damn things for five miles without back ache ? I am amazed that with THOUSANDS of complaints online every year they do the same stupid thing year in and year out.....
