  • Much better than I imagined! - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

Accord Sport w/ the 6sp is amazing! I have been a die hard Honda fan, but always liked the Civic model. Traded in the 08 Civic 5sp manual for this, and have been blown away by the difference in the first 650 miles. The manual transmission is smooth, the engine is quick to respond, and its got lots of power I often peel out in between gears when having fun with it. The quality of the cabin/exterior just feels like its going to last forever, and Im looking to push this car over 300,000 miles in the years to come!

  • 1,200 miles & Wont Start. Back to the shop we go :( - 2013 Honda Accord

Overall great design & performance for the Money. Very disappointed with the reliability, and Honda service. Honda has by far the absolutely WORST customer service, I have ever experienced. Currently my Accord is back in the shop for going on four days, no updates, calls and the vehicle is still not fixed. Finally got a loaner on the third day,and dealt with rude, under trained associates who gave me a filthy loaner car, with no update on my vehicles repairs, instead it was still sitting exactly where it was towed. Cant wait to get it back so I can go get my 2014 Lexus Is

  • Honda Accord Sport 6M - 2013 Honda Accord

Bought this car four months ago and have 1300 miles on it. The car is very comfortable and fun to drive. Unfortunately, the car has been back to the dealer 5 times . The seals around the drivers side window are bad. The car sounds like a wind tunnel above 60 mph. In addition, some part is bouncing around in the dash making a constant rattle. The local dealership and Honda North American did nothing to fix the problem until I made it clear I was filing a lemon law complaint. Build quality of this first year model has been below normal for Hondas usual high standards.

  • Honda is back on track! - 2013 Honda Accord

I loved my 2000 Accord SE, but it was time to pass it down, and get myself something new. This Coupe is amazing. I have driven many manual trannies, but this one is the best. The engine has plenty of power, tugging smoothly at the low end and breathtakingly at the high end - and it makes wonderful sounds! Theres always a correct gear to select. Positioning of all controls is great. With only 200 miles on it, I got 30 mpg on a 460 mile trip, with a combination of city and mostly high speed highway, cruising at 80 mph (the speed limit in that part of Texas, thank you) and making no attempt to be frugal. City-only is averaging 24, again without trying. Sound system is awesome.

  • 13 Honda Accord Sport (6MT) - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

Ill give the skinny to anyone seriously interested in buying the Accord Sport (MT). Buy it. I drove an Altima and the 14 Mazda 6 and neither one compared. I did not get a chance to drive the CVT version of the Honda Sport (never considered getting a CVT auto), so I cannot honestly review that car. But the 6 speed manual rocks. Short throws, very light clutch, responsive throttle. A pure joy to drive. If youre looking for an affordable, fun car, you simply cant go wrong with the Accord Sport. Im partial to driving manuals, and am amazed at what a great deal it is. I got mine for $21,800, with a nice dealer installed package thrown in.

  • Very Impressed! - 2013 Honda Accord

I leased an EXL and the car has exceeded my expectations. Having driven a 2007 Infiniti G35X the last 6 years I was prepared for a letdown. Although the Accord is no sports sedan it fulfills my current needs. It is very comfortable, roomy, stylish and gets outstanding gas mileage. The CVT performs flawlessly and although I was originally hesitant about it I now prefer it to the traditional 5 speed auto in the previous Accords. My only complaint is the sound quality of the stereo. Its mediocre at best.

  • So Far, So Good - 2013 Honda Accord

I have owned my 2013 Accord Sedan for 8 months now, and overall, I am very satisfied. The car handles very nicely, is very comfortable (I am 62"), looks great, accelerates nicely, is quiet, and came with lots of great standard features, like the bluetooth and backup camera. I have drive mostly in the city, and mileage is okay - around 24 mpg. However, highway mileage is great - around 38 mpg. I have experience the CVT stuttering mentioned by other reviewers on occasion. It is not that bad so, at least in my car. However, Honda really should address this issue if lots of buyers are having a major problem with it.

  • Better than the last generation... - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

I have owned each of the past 6 generations of Accord, plus an Acura TSX thrown in, so Im pretty knowledgeable about the car. This 9th generation is worlds better than that 08 I owned prior -- the build quality is better (no squeaks/rattles yet), better fit/finish, impressive fuel economy, more fun to drive, etc. My car is a later build 13, so I have none of the CVT juddering issues, radio lag/freezing issues, or squealing brakes that many have complained about. I can understand others frustrations -- my 08 had many teething problems of a new generation. The car doesnt feel bloated & sluggish like the prior generation -- the 2.4L makes the most of its 185hp/181lb torque.

  • Nice Looking Car Bad Transmission - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

The 2013 Accord has a transmission shudder or judder in it when cold and in stop and go traffic. I have called the dealer and called Honda, Honda agrees there is a problem but there is no fix yet. I tried to get them to buy the car back, only have 1000miles on it. They wont. So I DONT recommend you buy the CVT version of the 2013 Accord.. You have been warned. I am stuck with the car, but I have contacted Consumer Affairs, BBB, and WAVY TV 10. I hope Andy Fox will call me and go for a ride in this car. The test drive was after the car was warmed up and on the highway. No stop and go traffic.Figures. Honda if you take care of me , I will stop this bad publicity of your 2013 Accord.

  • Rattles - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

For the most part Im pleased. But the dash noise, rattles and speaks are getting to me. When I first start to drive the car after its been sitting in the heat the center dash snaps, crackles and pops. Sometimes on rough highways there is a rattle/buzzing noise from the center dash in front of the audio display. If I place my hand on this flat part of the dash the noise stops. I had a friend video this noise just in case the dealer cant reproduce the noise. I dont know if the video will help.
