May 93 Accord - 1993 Honda Accord
By Irishdude - July 10 - 2:00 amI have owned Honda vehicles for some 20 years. I have had very few issues which would make me consider changing brands. The only issue I consistently had to address is the air conditioner compresor failures which required an approximate $1000 replacement cost. My 1993 Accord LX has had 3 replacements since I purchased the car.

My first car - 1993 Honda Accord
By teenager - July 3 - 2:00 amI bought my accord just a few months ago. It has been great. Its my first car and I love it. I had issues with the alternator and car starting and electrical stuff. We replaced the battery and the alternator to no avail. When we got it looked at, it turns out that the previous owner replaced the alternator belt on incorrectly, and now it is perfect. I love the gas mileage...300 miles per fill-up! A great first car. Its got 92,000 miles and is still going strong!

What a Great Car! - 1993 Honda Accord
By grabber_1965 - July 2 - 2:00 amIve owned this car for over 9 years and have put over 140,000 miles since purchase. It always starts, always runs well, and even with over 160,000 total miles on the car, there are still no rattles or squeaks! Only 1 expensive repair for the ABS computer chip, but it was covered under the warranty. Didnt have to replace the alternator until 130K miles. This car has proven Honda reliablility to me. It still runs quiet, never stalls in cold weather, and gets excellent traction in the snow. With normal maintenance, I still get over 27 miles per gallon.

I expected much better - 1993 Honda Accord
By W Cooke - April 15 - 2:00 amI bought this car because of its reputation. I was let down. 75k miles when I got it and the ABS pump was shot. $1300 to replace, no thanks. The counter balance shaft belt broke and now it shakes like crazy at idle. Trans vibrates bad between 35 and 50 mph like its trying to shift but cant. Oil leaking at every possible place. Both interior door hanldes broke. CV joints on both sides went this year. The factory radio was the worst thing Ive ever heard. Now, the engine is very strong and burns no oil. The seats are very comfortable. Everything works inside. The style is the best. Still a great looking car.

Great little Honda - 1993 Honda Accord
By Drake4985 - April 5 - 2:00 amWe bought this 1993 SE sedan in April 2001. It was a great car other than axles and radiator nothing else really went wrong. I sold the car to a Honda junkyard in summer 2003. A man in an old toyota truck pulled out right in front of me. I was going about 40mph the car held up great. It had 179,164.3 miles on it when it died.

By knoxtenor - February 21 - 2:00 amThe 93 EX Coupe (6 cyl manual 5 spd) was the closest thing to a new car Ive ever owned. It was also by far the hottest, coolest car Ive ever owned. I bought it in 95 w/ about 28K miles, it, and at 146K, its still so amazingly reliable and fuel-effecient that I cant bear parting with it just because I want something modern and stylish with less wear-and-tear.
