Great Economy Car - 2017 Toyota Corolla
By Ian - April 1 - 9:32 amI had a base (no cruise, crank windows, etc.) model Ford Fiesta that I bought new in 2012. I used the vehicle for pizza deliveries while I was in college. After 5 years and some 100,000+ miles I made the decision to get a new car that Id be using to make the hour commute to my new job. After looking at my options in the $16-20K range I found that the Corolla is the only one that I could get with semi-autonomous features standard - which was very important to me. I live in a semi-rural area and find driving to me a necessary evil which is greatly alleviated by the adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, automatic headlights, and pedestrian detection. As for the rest of the car, I find it does what it was designed to do - be basic transportation. It doesnt handle as well as the Fiesta, but for everyday driving in traffic, highway, and country roads I dont really find the desire to be driving like a motoring enthusiast. The car feels much more solid than the Fiesta and has plenty of room for four people. If you are the type of driver that likes to race to red lights, screech around parking lots, and generally be annoying to everyone around you this isnt the car for you. If you drive cautiously and carefully because you want to take care of your car and dont like to waste gas this car is perfect - basic transportation with modern features that historically has held its value and requires low maintenance.

I hate this car! - 2017 Toyota Corolla
By janie - January 26 - 8:07 amI have been a Toyota fan since I bought my first one in the 1960s, I havent owned any other brand and I was never disappointed until 2016. I was extremely happy with my 2004 and never would have given it up(it only had 48,000 mi.) if it wasnt totaled by another driver. At low speeds(30mph) the car hesitates as if I am continually touching the brake. At highway speed (60mph) the car does not hold the road and drifts, so I am constantly steering to hold the car steady. At my six month checkup they told me the car was performing normally and this was backed up by a case manager at Toyota headquarters. I have the temperature set at 66 degrees, but the air always seems too hot or too cold. I am short and I find the visibility poor. I am also over 65 so I am not a fan of having to program everything, but thats my problem, not the cars. Well, thats enough complaining for now.

Solid car, but not much fun to drive - 2017 Toyota Corolla
By wj - December 16 - 2:26 amPros: Superb headlights with every even and bright illumination; tight fit and finish, very solid construction; low operating cost. Cons: If you want to know what it feels like driving a coffin this is it! Very dark claustrophobic interior, poor outward visibility; noisy at speed; poor straight line stability; persistent and irritating understeer. Boring exterior design. Some very hard and sharp plastic in the wrong spots that really will hurt you.

Like it so far - 2017 Toyota Corolla
By Rafayel Paremuzyan - June 11 - 3:44 pmWe have it for about one month. So far we like it. As a family car it is great. The thing I like most is, the Adaptive cruise control and line departure alert. Also LED lights great when driving in dark

Corolla review 123 - 2017 Toyota Corolla
By Alan Feiveson - April 24 - 9:41 pmOne thing kept us from considering this car. The visibility out the back was very poor due to the high rear seat headrests.
