There are no significant changes for 2004.
- Excellent warranty, pleasant highway ride, lots of bang for your family-sedan buck.

By edavid42 - April 28 - 2:00 amthe only thing I can say in a negative light is that the transmission in the 0-5 mi per hour range feels loose.

Great Value for Money - 2004 Hyundai Sonata
By Swaroop - April 23 - 10:00 amI first looked at this car after stumbling on the J.D Power review in some news article. After a lot of research I test drove the Sonata LX and fell in love with this car. I also test drove the Toyota Corolla and Honda Accord. Corolla was just a good point A to point B type of car with no frills and thrills. Accord was similar to the Sonata. Well it was slightly better in terms of quality but it was atleast $8K/$9K more than the Sonata. The value for money was maximum in the Sonata. The Sonata is THE car for the cost-conscious person who wants a good car.

By fjnlcpc - February 8 - 2:00 amPurchased in 2001 as new.Had previously ownes a Elantra wagon and a Santa Fe. Both also excellent and with standard 4. Friends thought Hyundai was cheap etc. you know the old stories. Well i am known to be smart when spending and Hyundai gives dollar for dollar the best deal in quality, reliability and well they won me over big time.

The car to buy - 2004 Hyundai Sonata
By kofender - January 28 - 10:00 amVery simply, everything you really need is in this car. Its not expensive, but it is surprisingly well built. It is not a speed demon, but do you really need to be runing your engine with hard accelerations? You cant beat the value for the price. Everything you really need is here and all the frills (except a navigation system, but do you really need one to get around your own neighborhood) are here too. And heck, its about $8000 than a similar Accord or Camry.

Great Little Car - 2004 Hyundai Sonata
By Hugh G. Rection - January 3 - 1:55 pmI purchased this car used with 58000 miles on it. The Carfax report said that it had been a rental in its previous life. Despite that, this car looks great, drives great and even with a V6 is good with fuel economy. I have since put 12,000 miles on the car and have had no problems. Just put on some new tires and have been diligent with the oil changes. I hope this car performs for another 30,000 or so. Then it should be about time to buy a new Hyundai.(Ill get the warranty next time:)

I Love My Sonata - 2004 Hyundai Sonata
By Sally Bell - December 21 - 2:00 amI have purchased in the past Chevrolets,Buicks,& Fords. The Sonata is built so much better than the above mentioned cars. It rides like a Cadillac. The dealership I purchase this vehicle from were also very accommadating. I did have a problem reaching their staff after I purchased the vehicle but after I complained they rectified this problem. I am very happy with the Sonata.

Neels review - 2004 Hyundai Sonata
By jneel - December 17 - 10:00 amAlthough, I have not had the Sonata for very long, I feel it is a lot of car for the money. The styling is great, it is very roomy and the ride is good. My only complaint is that the braking is not as good as I am accustomed to.
