The car that wont die - 1991 Honda Civic
By Q in Roch - July 16 - 2:00 amMy 91 Civic has 150k miles on it now. I drove it through college, through grad school, and now its serving as a wonderful and, most importantly, RELIABLE 2nd car. I had to replace the alternator at 145k miles, but aside from that and scheduled maintenance, this car has demanded nothing of me. We also own a 99 Accord, and before the Civic, I owned an 87 Accord which didnt die until the transmission finally gave out at 257k miles. Were currently looking to trade in the 91 Civic for an Odyssey, but I dont want to betray my baby!!!

Unbelievable - 1991 Honda Civic
By Mrghos - July 2 - 2:00 am4 syllables! IN-CRE-DI-BLE!!!! I dont even change the oil like I used to and this little car will not give up! It just keeps going and going. I am kind of tall and on long trips sometimes my foot goes to sleep but that is a small problem. Pickup is horrible escpecially with AC on. But what can you expect from an 11 year old 4 banger... HA!

By SupaDupa - May 20 - 2:00 amThe ad in the paper said, "the most reliable car youll ever own." Well, they couldnt be more right. This thing just will not die! I dont want it too, but really, I change the oil and that is it. The brakes and clutch are original and I just cant believe how much Ive gotten out of this car. Im at 120k and shes still goin stong.

By Oscar - May 17 - 2:00 amI actually have the 91 HB Special Edition (Canadian Edition), but with the same engine as the DX! ... absolutely astonished by my little baby! ... at 92HP, all Ive had to do is change the oil and the shocks ... its absolutely amazing! ... the gas mileage, the way it looks, the way it works, the way it comes alive every time, even at -50 degrees Celcius ...

By Loeters - May 13 - 2:00 amI have owned this car for 11 years. Never in 11 years has it not started. It just goes and goes! I have 250,000km on it now and it runs as good as the day I bought it. I am convinced it has another 250,000km in it. Incredible.

Best $11,000 I Ever Spent - 1991 Honda Civic
By Ellen - April 24 - 2:00 amThis baby just wont give-up. Have never had any major problems whatsoever. Kept up with Hondas regular maintenance schedule which I think has alot to do with it. Interior looks great. Not as peppy as it used to be, but has served us well.
