Look for something else - 2018 Honda CR-V
By Bob2007 - September 16 - 2:08 pmThe driving performance on the 2018 is passable for what it is. Dont let the turbo charger fool you- it is there to help gas mileage (which is ok); the CRV has all the acceleration you would expect from a low end economy 4 cylinder; i.e., not much. What is really poor though, and was poorly represented by the dealer is the "infotainment". The navigation is terrible (eg, searching for locations doesnt really work), the interface is clunky, and the syncing with phones is shaky at best. Its a shame that they dont offer the EX-L with a much more basic (and user-friendly) sound option. For the price, in retrospect I wish we had gone with a Subaru or Toyota.

More fun than a Honda - 2018 Honda CR-V
By writesometimes - August 29 - 8:29 amThis is not the Honda of old the outside is stylish and looks as nice as any in this class. Interior roomy and comfortable with plenty of storage. the turbo adds pick up and milage but this is not a rocket but suitable for entry to a highway. The weakness may be in the interconnect with the phone which now seems difficult the car is new but I have set up many phone interconnects and this ones tough.

Disappointed - 2018 Honda CR-V
By Ibrahim Awwad - April 18 - 10:02 amI have just received my car 5 days ago, the driver seat cushion is too short and not comfortable at all. Every day im trying to find a good position to drive and cant reach that! When you try to adjust the seat by tilting it, it only raises the front part which makes more pressure on the low back portion. What’s more depressing in the touring model they have ignored a very small details, while in dark both, indicator knob and wipers aren’t illuminated so at night you won’t be able to see them at all :(. When you backup and the car on the R gear the side mirrors aren’t tilting downwards. With a fully loaded car, these tiny issues are really a shame not to be there.

Save yourself a lot of grief...look elsewhere - 2018 Honda CR-V
By amazed99@hotmail.com - February 16 - 4:03 amI purchased my 2018 CRV new. I have had nothing but issues with the heat and defrost functions. I took it back to the dealer four times already and their standard response is that is just the way new cars are now, they dont produce heat. I have even purchased a thermostat for the interior because there is just no heat. The ONLY way I can get the stupid car to heat is if I drive it longer than 40 minutes, then it finally starts to warm up around 70. The windshield is a nightmare, the defrost does not keep it clean of snow and ice. In this area of Wisconsin, that is a necessity, not an option. Either I missed this, or the reviews by Consumer Reports and Edmonds are not reporting this defect. Shame on you, as had I know this, I would never have purchased this car. I cant say enough negative about Honda and the CR-V.

CR-V great or not - 2018 Honda CR-V
By gerry - November 13 - 4:40 pmThis is my second CR-V and I will say the tech value in this vehicle has greatly increased over the years. As it has always been, the CR-V is a very dependable and quality vehicle. My disappointment as it has been in the past with other CR-V is the ride noise; even though Honda has improved on this with the CR-V, it is still not up to where I feel it should be, more improvement needed in this category. The new turbo added to four cylinder makes for a more less strenuous ride especially on upgrades. From the stand point of gas mileage it is somewhat over rated, combined miles is suggested to be at around 30 although with very light footed driving this at present is only 26.5.
