  I bought mine new then bought 2 more used for college students. All 3 are still going strong with no more than routine maintenance. My 16 y.o. son get handed down one of them and Ive warned him if he wrecks it theyll be h*ll to pay. Best car purchases Ive ever made.

  Still Just Rght - 2001 Honda CR-V

  Well, its been 3 yrs since the last review I did and the old gal is still ticking! Not a lick of trouble, mileage still up there at 24-26 in mixed/mostly highway driving. Regular maintenance is the key, but I suspect Hondas in general dont suffer much in sniggly little problems, or major ones either. Only problem that scared me was The Engine" light came on one day. Dignosed as Human Error. Dont forget to tighten those gas caps, folks!

  I enjoy driving my CR-V around town and on trips. Fuel economy is good, and it is inexpensive to maintain. I like the looks and handling.

  Test drove this car before I purchased it and find take off wasnt as fast as I wanted it but, It is only a for a 4 cyl.. Other than that Im very happy with my purchase. Very dependable. I take care of my cars and plan to have this for many years to come....

  This is a great reliable car, not expecting anything less from a Honda! Purchased car new in 2001 and has been working great with no major maintenance just regular oil changes and service -granted it has only been 4 years, but our previous car which we also got new, within few months transmission went bad and car was never the same afterwards.

  As a college student, I am overly pleased with my 2001 CR-V. I am able to travel to and from school and home ocassionally with comfort and ease. My car was bought as a graduation gift almost four years ago and I have had no problem whatsoever since then. I hope to keep my car for many years to come. I am sure that it will be as reliable then as it is now.
