This Year's Model Updates:

A power moonroof and Myrtle wood trim are now standard on all models. Brushed aluminum column trim is available as a no-cost option. Front lumbar support has been added to the Premium Package for all 325 models; a power top is now standard on the 325Ci convertible; and new star-spoke wheels are standard on the 325Ci coupe and convertible. The 330Ci convertible gets an auto-dimming rearview mirror, lumbar support and a universal garage door opener as standard. This year, the sequential manual gearbox (SMG) is available only on 3.0-liter models, and only in combination with the Sport Package. Buyers can now order both the Performance and Premium Packages together. Lastly, a flat tire warning and white indicator lights are now standard on all models.

Pros:
  • Still the standard when it comes to perfectly sorted vehicle dynamics, high-quality interior materials exude luxury, wide range of configurations to suit any style, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
Cons:
  • Still costs more than most of its competitors, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity, confusing array of options and packages.

Get the Performance package! Great option. The Alcantara interior is second to none. Smooth and effortless driving.

  • GREAT CAR! - 2005 BMW 3-Series

This is my first luxury car and I want to drive BMWs for the rest of my life! This car is the best vehicle Ive ever had, it handles well and hugs the road. The car is solid! It doesnt like stop and go traffic, it likes to take off on the highway (anything above 50 mph). I dont get great fuel mileage on the city streets, but the highway mileage is very good. I will keep it two years and then go for the 5 series. Its not that roomy inside especially if you have tall or large people in your family, but perfect for me as a second car. This is a wonderful vehicle!!!

Ive owned Trans Ams, Corvettes, and other American sports cars and decided to step it up in quality. Having test driven Mercs and other import sports coupes, there isnt another car I would have over this one. The power in 6th gear when on the highway is still responsive enough to pass with and doesnt need a lower gear. The sport package makes this car handle just as good stock for stock against a corvette and will surprise you with its acceleration despite its small horsepower number. I continue to get 30mpg at high speeds on the highway which is simply indescribable. It is a BLAST to drive and puts my previous V8s to shame in fun to drive yet its docile enough to commute in.

  • Enjoying my first 3000 kilometers - 2005 BMW 3-Series

Overall a joy to drive. I have the sport supension, so at first the ride was quite rough, but after several long trips it has smoothed out; in other words the suspension is sporty when it needs to be sporty and comfortable when needs to be comfortable. As far as looks, it is a Clubsport model- absolutely gorgeous. 5-speed automatic, its great, but recomend the 6-speed manual. Previous car was a MBZ S-class. Happy for the change. It was like driving a quiet tank.

  • Love at first drive - 2005 BMW 3-Series

I have wanted a BMW for a long time and I finally got rid of my old car and bought a certified pre-owned 2005 330xi. I could not be happier. I was driving a Subaru and (as expected) the experience is completely different. The ride is smooth but I have complete control, the gas mileage is solid but it has plenty of power, and, despite the reviews, I am very pleased with the Harmon Kardon sound system. Now I just have to quit my job so I can spend all day driving!

We bought this used 2005 AWD Wagon with only 19,000 miles on it in April 2008. This car is as good as it was the day it was delivered new to the dealer. It has every possible option available at the time. Ride, handling, comfort, features are all beyond my expectations. I will probably never buy anything but BMWs in the future. As a certified used BMW, the warranty and financing cannot be beat.

I have been a BMW owner for many years and will only ever buy myself a BMW. My 2005 325i with the sport package is the best one to date. I had a 1990 325i and loved that car but this is a true joy to drive. I bought my 325i new and have had no issues with it, she has been very reliable and kept me happy on many road trip. The power and balance are perfect for a car like this, its fun but not so much to get you into trouble. I am very complimentary of my car and will be sad to see her go next year when I take delivery of the new V8 M3 Coupe!

I absolutely love the car. I think that purchasing a car like this comes with the understanding that you are getting into a "drivers" car. It may not have the softest seats but they are supportive and hold you well while you carbe the corners with this amazing car. The handling is outstanding for a 4 door sedan. I have the 17" wheels with the upgraded suspension and the ride is firm just the way "I" like it. To me its almost perfect. With that im mind you should buy what you need/want. If you buy this car expecting something other then BMW, it will not work for you and you will not be happy. I am absolutely crazy about the car. Very well done VW. Just enough power to make driving just great.
