This Year's Model Updates:

For 2003, BMW will finally offer a DVD-based navigation system -- meaning that you won't have to give up an in-dash CD player if you opt for the nav system. Other changes include a standard front armrest for all 325 models, as well as a rear center headrest for all sedans and wagons. Additionally, all wagons will come with a moonroof. In terms of options, the Premium Package for all 325s now includes automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, and the Sport Package for the 330xi includes double-spoke alloy wheels and run-flat tires.

Pros:
  • Luxurious, powerful, exceptional road manners, available all-wheel drive for sedan and wagon.
Cons:
  • Pricey for its market segment, limited rear-seat space and cargo capacity.

  • BMW ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE - 2003 BMW 3-Series

Recently my wife and I were in the market for a new vehicle, we wanted a sedan known for its performance ,quali and workmanship. BMW 325I was our 2nd choice, however after the test drive we enthusiastically chose BMW Over the Infiniti g35 . Plain and simple, there isnt anything negative that i can say about this car. Its a superb vehicle, it handles like a charm, acceleration is smooth and powerful. The handling is tight , the ride- smooth and comfortable. Interior is comfortable , not over cluttered . And above all its FUN to drive. Any fence straddlers should go to your local BMW dealer and take a test drive and experience the ultimate driving machine.

We have owned other small cars such as a Mercedes and Cads. This car initially did not impress me as fast. However, as the motor loosens up a bit it is getting really fast. Cornering is great. The construction and finish are better than we found with the others.

This is my 1st BMW, I dont know if Ill buy another. This car is very fun to drive. However, I am a big guy and it is a very small, uncomfortable car. The redesign in 2006+ is a better compromise of room and performance. I spend a lot of time in a car so this matters (30K miles/yr), but it is fun on days off and short trips when I dont spend hours in the car. The worst feature is reliability. I bought it less than 2yrs ago @ 21K miles, I have 74K now. Ive replaced all the window regulators (and Im about to again), an electrical harness, a throttle body boot, and misc other items. The boot wasnt even under my CPO warranty. In less than 2yrs this car has had 20+days in the shop

Words cant describe the feel and excitement of a BMW. After trying out other newer models, the performance of a BMW cant be compared. Long rides just dont seem that long while curved roads enhance the overall exhilaration. Overall it is a great, reliable performance vehicle. Just take it for a test drive and see for yourself.

The car now over 5 years and still very fun to drive. Reliability has been spotty. Warranty: sunroof, ignition coils, left window regulator. Ive paid to have the passenger side electronic door lock replaced ($700) and the CD player. It started skipping. Factory replacement would have been over $700. I put in a Pioneer Premium with Sirius, HD radio, iPod and MP3 player for about $1000. But the car is great and I love it. The lumbar adjustment has stopped working Ill live with it.

Overall, I really enjoy this car. It has the power when I need it. The styling is beautiful. I get comments all the time on how pretty it is and how its engineered. The best thing BMW did was change the style of the new 3.

  • Best Car of All Time!!!!! - 2003 BMW 3-Series

This is an excellent car!!! Classy and elegant, yet sporty and sexy. Definately fun to drive. Very reliable, excellent performance. Have had NO Problems at all. Has large number of options, and colors, reasonably priced for a car of this caliber. Everything is covered for this car except for tires, if there is a problem. Roomy inside (not like the Jag, or Porsche: cant fit anything in there). I dont think youll find a better quality car. I will definatley get another BMW. I just love mine.

Solid car. Powerful engine. Good brakes. 100% reliable. Its so smooth and silent inside that you dontt realize the speed. The car lines are incredibly beautiful: its stylish and sport at the same time. Still no mechanical problems. It is by far the bes car Ive ever had.
