This Year's Model Updates:

BMW adds a more compact two-door hatchback called the 318ti to the lineup for 1995. With a chopped tail and the semi-trailing arm rear suspension from the previous-generation 3 Series (E30) aboard, the 318ti is intended to attract entry-level buyers. A 138-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder resides under the hood, and the interior decor is rather austere compared with the increasingly plush innards of other 3 Series cars. Antilock brakes, alloy wheels and a five-speed manual gearbox are standard; a four-speed automatic is optional. Also this year, a couple new option packages (premium and sport) allow buyers to give their cars a distinct luxury or performance flavor.

  • Still Awesome - 1995 BMW 3-Series

Here is a model built ingeniously in 1995 with M technic suspension,a fabulous drivetrain, and impeccable manners. All these years later not a squeak to be heard.Give us winding roads and a hill and the car can leave all in dust.

  • 318i is a great car! - 1995 BMW 3-Series

As a 53" female this car fits me great! And it is so reliable - I have 170K+ miles and havent changed the clutch yet. Three years ago, I had a front end accident and I was able to walk away with only a seatbelt bruise. This is a great car - Im keeping mine to at least 200K miles, if not longer.

WoW!!!! My first BMW, this little beauty was found in near perfect condition for less then 10K. I find this car amazing, this is my first 4 door car, and at 43 I feel grown up in my sleek gray Beemer! I had a 2003 350Z and afew other cars this year but love the timeless lines of this cutie.......

  • Best car I have ever owned - 1995 BMW 3-Series

Test drove the car on a whim assuming that I would never actually purchase it. Previously owned 3 SAABs, Ford Mustangs and 1978 1/2 Datsun 280Z. Compared to everything else the little 318ti was the champ! Could use a little more horsepower but at the expense of fuel economy it is just not worth it. Only thing that comes close today is the MINI Cooper! Handling and overall build quality have no equal in this price range!

  • Worth the money - 1995 BMW 3-Series

I love the car in spite of its imperfections. It doesnt have enough power and the fuel mileage is horrible for a 4 banger especially if you really drive it. It is very comfortable and fun to drive. It is definately worth the $ paid for it because it looks more expensive than it is. It is a great looking car and gets a lot of compliments. It is also reliable and easy to work on. Over all it is a great value.

An outstanding vehicle for the price (<10K). A good way to experience the ultimate driving machine at less than half the cost. Due diligence is necessary though as our vehicle was previously damaged and undisclosed/ignorance claimed by the dealership about the trunk and right rear quarter-panel. Despite this, the vehicle proved to be mechanically top notch with replacements necessary only for track use. This is our daily driver and it is solid. It averages around 21 MPG which is approx. the norm despite the occasional spirited driving.

  • Second to none - 1995 BMW 3-Series

Driven 6 years everywhere from HI & FLA to NY & CT. In deep snow with studded tires and hi speed cross country. NEVER had a mech prob in 113000 miles. Taught wife to drive clutch in 3 days in it, then went to sea for 2 wks. Still on first clutch. I drive it like it has twice the pwr it does. I love it. When the engine dies in another 120000 miles Im putting a v-6 in it and driving another 250000.
